It's pretty clear that this game wasn't created to give players a fun ride. It was created to give the illusion of being a fun game, but so incredibly tedious that people with some spare kreds over would spend them. Even I thought for a second to spend 10 kreds (which I don't know how I've gotten since I've never bought kreds) early in to give me a head start so the grind wouldn't be as long, but I realised that I could give it to a developer that isn't trying to suck kreds out of their players. Would be 4/5 if they made it less grindy, but I can't give it higher than 1/5 without feeling ashamed. Ninjakiwi, I hope you're reading people's comments.
Ninjakiwi earns a lot of money by making it a bit extra grindy. If they made it too easy, no one would give them creds worth $50 to be able to complete the game a bit easier (and much faster), but now some do. So of course the game is grindy, did you expect otherwise when you saw them asking for creds everywhere?
Tip for new users: Only upgrade your luck. Play through the levels until you hit lvl 15. Lose on purpose by hitting the bomb, repeat this until your luck is full, then play the slots and you'll have a gazillion bonuses.
The area of effect temple could also be working on ninjas during their invisibility to stun or damage them. It's not that powerful during single target attacks, so it could be a good idea to have a tower like that being able to damage them. Mana is too valuable to just have to save for early ninja waves.
I have nothing against the ninjas being buffed, but they're very powerful now on some night stages when you really have to build up defense around certain parts first. An idea would be to promote skill rather than just making the game harder. Example: Make frost crypts able to see and slow ninjas or something without actually damaging them or similar so you're actually able to counter ninjas without dumping loads of mana.
Bunker Dens bugs the sound out a bit. It's not a performance issue since I have an extremely capable computer, but it still seems like having 3 or more of them causes all sounds to simply stop since there's so many sounds at once.
Ah, you can reset the skills... Thanks, this was the most annoying thing in the previous game. Been looking forward to this though, going to going to have some fun with it tonight!
Weakest fleet attacks first? My fleet gets ravaged by other fleets in basically the first round. I wouldn't call theirs weaker. :( And yes, levels of cities would be awesome.
Fun idea, but it's been made so many times. You have to come up with something very original if you want these type of games to be considered as good. The short timer is also very theory-punishing since it rewards trial and error much more than thinking things through properly.
