you are a jerk! ever asked yourself why the rows on the side groe faster than the rows in the middle? no? then back to scratchboard and rethink the algorithms!
key to winning for me was not focusing on ammo squares but to dislove as many colored squares as possible by placing the colored square at present into the right places. shooting on the right is merely a sweetening addon once you have plenty of ammo. ah yes and shoot the first aid packets instead of trying to shoot every airforce pilot.
well, thats nothing different, from reaching the exit. the exit just has the shape of spikes and there is a red splat and some gibs if you reach it.
so what?
besides that, good game.
i just read your comments here on the kong-page about control configuration. and yes, if you had tested it exreme thoroughly those nasty bugs would have been revealed to you ;-)
besides all criticism: nice game!
Control Configuration sucks, allthough you made it configurable you missed to unbundle the different control functions. e.g. if i want to have the UP key for jumping as every normal human being that is used to a keyboard would want i have to press UP and DOWN at the same time to fall through thin floors. didn't you let test gamers get their hands on this game? (also the descriptions in game are wrong if i reconfigure the controls).
yes the game starts to get interesting at level 5, level 1 to 4 is boring and a wast of time. make another version where dividing number starts at level 1. 1 star for this one 5 for the version i mentioned.
