Only a 4/5- heres why:
Might require you to pull a few more resources together, but this would be a lot better with different sounding songs.
Having said that, this is an amazingly good concept. Game play itself would be a lot better with more unique sounds between levels. Also, I could see why somebody wouldn't like the game, a disclaimer at the beginning would probably do you well. Something like "If it doesn't sound good, its your own fault. It will play games if you time it properly it will sound like a song."
One last addition.. add a score system based upon how close players actually come to the song, thereby encouraging and rewarding them to play the game, as I assume, as you intended it to be played.
This is one of those rare concepts that could achieve a 5/5 if only it were tweaked just a bit. I seriously suggest re-releasing this game with a few improvements.
optravisprime, it is not a bug, it is your incompetence. Try not to alter things such that you mess up your past patterns. Thats the whole concept of the game, and its bloody brilliant if you ask me.
Great overall composition.
The game can be difficult, and beyond lighting up arrows around stars I would suggest placing "exit" tracer at the opposite end of the circle to better judge exactly where the star will shoot.
So very weird. I had no misses, and nothing but double, triple, and quad kills, yet through each stage my accuracy dropped to -200%. Then the next stage I had an accuracy of INFINITY! ??? 5/5 for baffling me while still entertaining me ^-^
This would be much better with three things. A better looking button. A harder to press button. And a game. 3/5 for the effort, the point I got for rating this, and the alcohol coursing through my veins.
Err, I didn't finish my critique. It is a great game for its genre. It misses 5/5 for one reason (not the ads, they don't bug me too much) when you hover the mouse over the lower part of a card, it will raise until it is no longer under the mouse, then it proceeds to "twitch" which can get annoying.
4/5. I am holding the last 20% of your perfect score hostage.
Here are my terms. You will never see your last 1/5 again unless you agree to make a Sonny v1.5 complete with a redesigned skill tree and a multiplayer duel mode.
You have 48 hours to decide.
No, conversepimp, you play as a missile flying through a tube filled with rotating obstacles.
WOO! Beat level 9 ^-^ Didn't lose any lives til the last level, final score: 26888
Beating Dr. H:
He will heal for 2,000,000 HP EVERY time he is below 990,000 HP. There is only one way to kill him. Work his HP down until your next attack will lower him below 990k, and attack him with Break of Shocking Bolt to stun him. While he is stunned cast subversion on him and he will kill himself.
Beating Omen:
Use supression (or other defensive skills if you have a LOT of focus) the turn or two before he uses Dark Omen. When he has Dark Omen active, hit him with your hardest attack. I recommend low focus characters to put 2-3 points into Regeneration, as this may be a long drawn out battle. Maxed out Heroic Motivation is a great way to recover from his attacks as it has a low CD.
Good game, except one bug ruined it for me. It is impossible to defend while being overwhelmed, whenever a building is destroyed your build menu dissapears. This is bloody annoying when you have to click a building 20 times to build one, then have to do it again for a second. Other than that, its fun stuff !
