This game is horrible. The controls are unresponsive and very laggy. No wonder I didn't play it back then; won't do it now, even for the Badge of the Week.
Don't really like this game. There are a lot of control-related issues that ruined it for me. First, the game is point-and-click, except for one place, where, out of the blue, you have to drag something; but only there! Then, there is a lot of pixel hunting going on, especially if one wants to find *spoiler*. This gets worse when one finds the pick-axe, let alone the screwdriver, because it is not obvious at all where these can be used, so one just ends up clicking everything with them. :/ Lastly, the game requires a lot of running between places at the opposite ends of the game world. It is a shame, really.

Good game. The point where you had to think 'out of the box' came a bit too abruptly, though (really, I thought that comment was only a snide remark). My only gripe with it is that the dates don't make sense. They didn't even have telnet in 1961, let alone ssh! And for obvious reasons (level 8), it cannot be 2061...
I had no problem with the amount of money; however, I found no way to use the scroll of regeneration that I found, nor the book of spells. Getting the sword is not really easy like this...
What the others said. This game is horrible; who wants to try and click every pixel of each room, just to find the last remaining battery? In an adventure game, you are supposed to think, which definitely does not happen here.
Fun game, but there are way too many problems with it. First, it is too short, there's no way to get even 1/3 of the upgrades. Second, you have to keep your allies weak, otherwise you get no money. Third, it is too easy -- even with my 0 level allies, I never lost a single level. Lastly, the special missions are unwinnable, because the game freezes.
There is a much easier way to get the secret in the white area. After you get the square at the end of the level, go back to the room in the left, and reset the blocks. Then send one block to the room where the square was. Jump on it, then jump + dash + jump up. You get "above" the level. Go left, and jump down the second (last) hole.
I kind of like this game, but it has several problems. 1: slooow. 2: the buying the same skill again does not decrease the cost. For example, I had upgraded Fright, and in the skill list it says it needs 26 MP. But if I cast it, it subtracts 35 MP. What?!
"Revive" is broken: it does not take into account the gold that you accumulate during the level. If this is intentional, maybe it should be stated explicitly.
I HATE games in which you have to replay the same level over and over again just to have a chance at the next one. It robs the player of all sense of achievement and completely ruins the story. Not that this game has any of the latter... Then again, I might not have to replay the levels if the companions had a remotely decent AI...
Games like this without a keyboard control option should not be allowed. What about those of us who don't have a mouse by hand and have to play them with a touchpad? It's pain, pure and simple.
Please implement keyboard controls. There's really no reason why you should not, the game could be controlled fine with the four arrow keys, and it would help a LOT for those of us who cannot get the hang of touchpads.
2/5: long, tends to get a bit boring as it goes on. However, the main problem is the _lack of stage select_. I got to the last level, (I didn't know that was the last), had to something else, and when I got back, I pushed the wrong button. My character fell off the screen, that's it, no way to replay. :(
First of all, I liked the game very much. The concept of a floating (perhaps semi-conscious) leviathan that feeds on planets is interesting and scary. That is why I was greatly disappointed when it turned out to be some sort of generic evil creature. There was no need for that.
The game is very buggy. As others have said, add keyboard controls, fix the boss fights, add extra time after a boss fight and fix how the fishes' names appear on the artifact page.
