While there is much to like about this game and concept, I find the click controls too frustrating to keep playing. I had difficulty reliably selecting spawns, regularly sent bugs the wrong way. More hotkeys would also be welcome -- to repeat a send (hold down shift?), or even paths through multiple spawns, or "all send" to one point.
Strong game. You know about the bugs. Tesla gun is over-powered ... or it's too easy to find ammo for it. If I were those marines, I might have stuck around. I think I could have cleaned up the planet!
This is fun! Though I agree, it needs serious debugging. Many battles end with enemies on the field and not all waves sent. It's tough ... but I've made it up to 5-2, with only some frustration.
This is really nice. Of course it could use tweaks ... but still enjoyed it greatly. It made me very nostalgic for Homeworld. Agree with comments about difficulty. Would love to see more additions to the tech-tree.
BUG (still liking this game): I'm setting up barriers to stand on and wait for zombies, but my expensive mercenary gets stuck on the edge when she jumps up, and then gets torn apart by zombies. I can get her to jump down, but she gets stuck again when jumps back up.
When exploring a new building for the first time, the placement of the barricade purchase box makes it difficult to see if there is a doorway on a right-side wall. This is frustrating, if you are looking for the best defensive position. Otherwise, fun game.
Very enjoyable. Little bit grinding at the end, as others have said, when you have don't really have any chance of losing. Would be nice to have a way to get rid of henchmen! Unless I'm missing it ...
I am fascinated that people are exploiting cheats on "The Easiest Game Ever." I don't even think it's wrong. Just fascinating. I guess we all find happiness different ways. If you don't like this game, it's not because it's not well made. It's because we're all different. Isn't that beautiful? I'm tearing up over here.
Not sure if I'm missing something -- after first few wall upgrades, the wall itself stopped appearing in battle. Battles in my home city took place out in the open, with no traps/wall/etc. That was frustrating. Otherwise, with a save/help/and bug-fix upgrade, this game would be very nice! After a few false starts got the hang of it, and AI became very easy to defeat.
I enjoy this TD/Cannon hybrid. But, not sure if comments made clear -- sometimes you don't just lose money, but you lose a LEVEL or two that you've completed. I don't really want to go back and do it again. So I'm done with this for now, but I'll look for a fixed version!
These comments are a fascinating example of how people can't help assigning some force (divine, programming, luck, magic) to the fact that random is RANDOM. Which means that sometimes things will work out for the computer, against all odds. We tend to remember those moments more than the common ones. We see ghosts in the machine.
Appearance and mood? A 4 or 5. Gameplay? Well ... is it possible to die? So easy! And does the final boss actually do anything? We just flew around together for awhile, very peacefully. So -- I played till the end for the art. The gameplay is a 2.
Bug: my assault team ran over a trench filled with soldiers, as if it literally was not there. Talk about cheap victory. I really enjoy this game, though. I'd like to see a top down version, with choices of which trenches, and where along them, to deploy your squads.
