I am giving this a suprisingly high rating considering it is a "Unity" game. "Unity" games usually have too many glitches for me to like very much. While there is a bandwidth/lag issue to deal with I found myself playing a lot longer than I would normally. The author seems to have worked around "Unity's" normal array of glitches. I was, falsly, lead into thinking the glitches in "Unity" themselves had been fixed earlier this week but was later, sadly, proven wrong. Anyway, Destructotron is very cool. Like the whole town being destroyable, something you rarly see, and the lack of need for a story line is refreshing. A throwback to the golden age of computer games. Me like. If anything, I'd like to request a "mouse sensitivity control" option. With the lag issues, the turning speed of the character makes accurate aiming nearly impossible. Some fine tuning ability on the players end might fix this. Overall, Awesome job AtonalLemma. Keep up the good work!
OMG! Terrain! Thank you!!! It's been my pet peeve for ever that these top down shooters all exist in empty space painted to look like (room, mall, city street whatever...) AWESOME!!! Bonus stars for you guys!!! It's does have a bit of a glitch with occasionally getting stuck on the outside wall, And I have to say I would think a desert Eagle would have a better range than zombie spit... But who cares?!? Terrain! It's not lead the horde in a circle chapter 34,870,346,064,598,986!!!!! You have renewed my faith in and love of Top Down shooting!!!!!!!!!
No offense is meant to the author of this particular game. This particular game has cute art is not particularly challenging puzzles and a little bit of humor. Adam in the parka is priceless... That having been said this whole genre of games seems like a complete cop out for game designers. Oh no, a secret hot spot and some pre-scripted animation. In stead of wasting your talent on something like this, why not team up with someone who can put together something thats more of a game and do something REALLY cool. I've seen a hack of a lot of games on Kongregate that have a lot of technical merit but not a lot of imagination. This is, of course, only an opinion. I do wish you, the author, all the luck you can get with this and future endeavors.
Nice artwork. The lighting has issues in that the torch keep sgoing through the wall. Givern the other games this week I had seriouslky hoped "Unity" had gotten over it's glitches, but alas this is not true here. Several crashes. Le Sigh. I really can't vote very high for a "Spot the pixel" game at the best of times, and this one has a few other issues. Not the least of which is it being too dark when the lighting has problems. Unless you have REALY good sound all or mostly dark doesn't work very well in computer games. Though that may be a personal opinion, that's why we vote, yes?
Usualy games like this want to aim with the mouse. The Doom guys discovered how inaccurate the KB is for this. Meanwhile, another game avoiding "Unity's" glitches?!? Did they put outr an update I somehow issed? Is there yet hope?!? Overall, not bad but this game feels somehow incomplete. I couldn't tell you why.
Why does all that oil slick and ice look like roads and sand? Oh yeah, its all... "United."
Like most "Unity" games this looks nice till something moves. It's not the authors fault. This should be a decent capture the flag type game. However, the vehicles are impossible to control, the controls themselves are glitched beyond help. "Unity" or the game, I'm not sure which, keeps getting stuck on the "D" key. I tested my KB, it's not me. I can't believe how much they are asking for the full version of the developement product with as many glitches as are still in it. Seriously guys, 4 digits? Corel doesn't cost that much. And it works.
Love the concept. The controls are iffy. Why did the author need to use unity for this though? The game doesn't utilise any Unity features not found in Flash and Unity is so... tempremental still.
Needs a "Promote All" button or a master employee chart to promote from. At the very least it needs to stop scrolling when you select an employee so you can promote and otherwise deal with people without it turning into a chase scene.
Also, a Tech tree display would be nice. Apparently some things got invented while I was out.
If someone knows what the "Tower Infrastructure" technology gives you, I would appreciate it if they would message me with an explanation of said advancement.
