In regards to the non-veteran man living in Washington DC. There is a difference between "can" and "would." A living person most certainly "can" be buried alive, but probably "would" not be.
The one about the almanacs is stupid. "When you visualize it this way" is a stupid way to present a logic problem. If you visualize it where the books are opened and placed in such a way that the first page of book 1 and the last of book 3 are next to each other, then the worm barely ate anything. You could "visualize" it a whole bunch of different ways.
Perhaps starting developers would get a better reception if they tried to make something decent for their first game. They seem to think that making a maze game, dressup game, tetris clone, etc. and labeling it as "my first game" means that they can get away with posting that crap. If more starting developers actually put some effort into it, like this : http://www.kongregate.com/games/cinkyhu/the-frog-prince then maybe they would find a better reception.
In agreement with most of the other complaints, the race was just ridiculous. I don't think it is even possible to beat it with a touch pad. Maybe if I had a mouse and a lot of persistence...
