Where did the report bug button go??!?! Oh well, in case anyone reads this, I pressed "enter" accidentally between rooms 4 and 5, which causes the computer unable to respond to any command. It just lets me type, submit, type, submit. I actually thought this was a part of the puzzle before checking the walkthrough.
I think that you need to put yourself in the gamer's shoes a little. 99% of the answers to any command is "I don't want to do that" or something similar. This gets annoying very quickly, coupled with the fact that you can't interact with anything in the first room (besides looking at fountain or door) or interact with anything in your inventory. The inventory is almost empty at the start, but you can't even take the sword (not enough room?). It doesn't make enough logical sense to hold my attention.
Loved the first one, sad it never got badged. The improvements are good in this, especially the upgrades and ability to have another go (rebound) at getting the guy after you miss-time.
Nice job, game works well and I like that you can pause to upgrade things after getting achievements. We really need to know what the individual upgrades do however. Is it just dmg and range, or attack speed, extra abilities, etc? There is a need to fail levels several times through trial and error because of this. Which on that related note, I think that the game generally starts too hard. Level 2 is extremely hard until you understand the towers.
Nice game with pleasant music :) I just wish that Mr Fatty could lose weight after level 2 and get moving! It was the restarting a level that made me stop playing because of how long it takes to walk around.
The game itself is fine, the music is great, and the character cute and likeable. The real issue is the horrible laggy controls and as the others said, it's a bit lacking in the challenge. If you address (mostly the lag) these couple of issues, you have a great game on your hands!
So this is where the Donnie Darko rabbit hangs out! Great game, surrealism was good yet maintained logical puzzles, the subtle humour was great and the music was completely fitting to the game. I enjoyed this a lot, thanks :D
The ability to switch between the boy and girl and use objects from on in the others room is a great idea, but over all this is just another logic-less pixel hunter "escape" game. It could have been a lot more!
It's an ok idea, the art work is good, the music fits, and mostly the physics work as expected. However I found the animations way too lengthy and wanted to skip them (especially after a completed level), the puzzles so far are too easy with the exception that I lost a level due to the physics not working as intended, I retried level 7 a couple of times (using the same strategy - there is no other), but the animal would half roll and then return. Then I couldn't restart again (why are there lives?) without watching lots of animations again?!? Good start, but needs work. Hopefully a dev that listens to players
The only addition that this game needs is Gandalf constantly yelling at you "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!" Because that basically sums up my experience here! My poor brain!
@Squidleteer, true that happens, but I also remember when they added rallying gives scarves because everyone was having trouble getting them. There are a couple of suggestions that seem to make it in, but yeah, there is a fair amount that it would be nice to hear about the progress
Is it possible to impress the England boss? I have all of my stats maxed, 100% relationship with everyone, am the leading goal scorer every single game, negotiate my own contracts to max, and am in the paper constantly. So what does this insane perfectionist need from me? He's constantly unimpressed!
I thought it strange that I could give my girlfriend some flowers to make up for the fact that I hadn't even seen her for weeks.... But then I remembered that she wouldn't even look at me until I had a phone, games console, motorbike and an apartment. It suddenly all made sense.
Thanks for good words, and specialy for constructive comment!
