Too reliant on some quick reflexive controls, and sadly sometimes the game misses some inputs, resulting in some deaths in an otherwise fun game. 3/5 for this.
Weapons should automatically switch to something with ammo when you run out, or at least show a message on the screen so you aren't pulling the trigger with nothing. There should also be mouse scrolling for weapon switching, and auto weapon switch when you pick up something better than your default pistol.
Would be better if the game had an actual campaign mode, not 40 bot deathmatches. I'd love to see levels that you actually travel through and pick up weapons instead of just boxed arenas over and over.
HUGE TIP: You can change the upgrades on your whale even during a wave. Give yourself regeneration to the max if you are starving and cant find any food. It will negate the hunger penalty.
I liked it the first play through, but it doesnt really give much incentive for replay value. I like the ideas some people had of giving more starting cash the next time. Having your character persistently level up and keep the level would be nice too.
I dont see this as a game as much as i see it as a very short time waster. It was enjoyable, but took about 15 minutes, and was impossible to lose. It didnt have much depth to it. (no pun intended)
