I think this game is crying out for mouse aim/fire. Too many times my shots go over my target. My complaints include those already mentioned regarding controls and upgrades.
I would have rated this 5 but I only found out the pars AFTER I finished the game. Most games have it per level...
I love the surreal quality of the game. It also seems too easy but gains depth as it goes along.
I don't want people to get hung up on achieving par the first time they play a level. The first time should be a super fun explosion-fest. I did try showing the par before you beat the level and the game rating kept going down until I changed it back again. As soon as you beat a level just hit reset or visit the level select and the par will be shown.
I'm glad there's a ;evel select now but I'm stuck on a level because the author uses shades too often (ie blue, dark blue, light blue) so it's hard to tell them apart.
Was going to vote this game up but the difficulty ramps up WAY too much between the first and 2nd level. Plus, the cannon splash damage is unclear. Is it just one square and/or one lane?
I've never seen a launch game implemented so badly. The game is frustratingly slow. You seem to lose speed without touching the ground. For some reason, rocketing into a baloon brings you to a near-halt. There also doesn't seem to be an ending or anything working for. I'd rate this game below 1 but the graphics are nice.
Just started the game and am confused by how the spells work. Shock says it "spreads to 1 closeby enemy" but doesn't say what range that actually is. Considering this is grid based, that's weird.
Yeah describing how Shock works was kinda hard with that amount of space. But if you look at the tutorial hints and test it a little, you'll get it pretty fast ;)
Someone explained the ending.... I might have got it myself if I played it all in one sitting maybe. Not sure if I liked it or not but it makes me feel the author is evil.
SPOILER
I mean, having a lengthy game getting us involve in this Kathryn character only to kill her off at the end? Is the author related to George R. R. Martin?
See forum post, sadly it can't be done. Use Cinematic Mode instead.
