Very playable. I like the advancement tree. I really appreciate not having to do that same thing over and over to earn money to but a frigging power up. This is pure game, no mobbing. Respect for that.
I respect kupo707 as one of the greatest developers on Kongregate but I just don't see this game as any good. The pictures are simply inappropriate pulled from other (great) games and slapped onto a rather lacklustre attempt at vertical scroller. No skill (from a skilled developer) no originality and, for me personally, no point.
Great game. 5/5 I don't usually go in for these kind of games but there is no doubt that this had me hooked in seconds. I'll be interested to see how high a rating you can get on Kongregate.
I am disappointed. This is a rehash of the first Notebook wars (a 5/5 game IMO). There is no ending, just a last level which left me wondering what happened? There is little need to upgrade anything, the 3rd weapon and a halfway helicopter is enough to complete the entire game. After shooting the wings off the bosses it takes excessive time to then destroy the body.
Ahh the song. Truly a reward worth the game! thank you.
I am sure fixing the AI so that the heros prefer paths least trod will be easy for you. Given your past record I will 5/5 this game safe in the knowledge that this minor thing will be fixed.
Great game:
Chain hitting red cars to maintain turbo.
Use turbo as much as possible, don't save it.
Track 6 is the hardest to qualify on.
Brakes are useless; all corners can be done faster by not accelerating rather than braking.
Crashing just before the finish line can allow you to bypass the finish whilst in your 1 second invincible mode.
The super car is not perceptibly faster than a normal upgraded car (if at all?)
5/5
5/5 but:
having to wait whilst the characters 'type' the plot was a real pain in the ###.
After spending what must be a considerable time creating this game it's almost as if there was no play-testing then refinement eg: hot keys for building, not having space cancel repair mode and the absence of an attack move.
Clearly this game suffers from being compared to SC and other 'premium games' rather than compared to the other games on Kong etc. which is disappointing from the community. We can do better!
Great game. 5/5. I am not sure why I rate this higher than games with similar mechanics to them (ie a moveable killing character that places defences) but it is more fun. The game play balances are part of it, so to because it allows a variety of strategies to it. There is only one deficit to this game, and its a big one .... where is my end of game song?!?!
My best multiplier is 1009 has anyone topped that?
I think this is a good example of having made a great game engine and an example that proves how good a game this could be the creator stopped. Adding more to do would make this a truly great game!
This game is brilliantly fun! I played it in it's original (?) form over at armour games and managed to get minimum 4 stars on each level with minimal effort. I am disappointed that Gaminic and presumably 280+ people have trouble reaching 5 stars. I question the claim that they are OCD gamers (and remind people that this is not meant to be taken personally). I love the smooth running style and the basic premise of the plot/humour used is second to none. The power ups are done very well especially as the choice is somewhat subjective allowing true tailoring to an individuals playing style.
If there is a sequel to this game I genuinely hope it is done in the same manner! It takes a lot to impress me these days with a flash game but this is was brilliant!
The appeal of this game is the total lack of faffing around. No waiting. Click and watch the result. No tedious wind up. No superfluous graphics. Just pure castle smashing enjoyment!
A very solid game. The variety of weapons is great, the music sets the mood well, the playability is great, the whole thing is very good. Respect! (minor note that the key for the map is hard to see and the colours seem to be off)
