What the ??!? on the second map there were only THREE DIFFERENCES! by clicking randomly the 4th 'difference' finally came up, on BOTH OF THEM! that is really really pathetic. The makers should be ashamed how totally novice. This has to be one of the easiest things to program in the world. How could you stuff it up? this is the first game I have ever given a 1 to but it is totally deserved. Your artist (who is clearly talented) should go and kick your programmer. Hard. (ok I feel better now)
Brilliant. Great game play, suitable amount of story, smooth upgrade curve with the ability to select based on play style rather than just a direct improvement in weapons, very well made. 5/5 keep up the great work! (oh and BTW the 'locked out' weapons have no impact on the game what so ever!)
Brilliant! 5/5 love the sound effects, the victory music, easy to grasp gameplay, fun all the way. I did get abouta1/3 of the way and then stopped using magic because rushing was just too easy. Reminds me heavily of the petri dish bacteria games!
If you are careful then all levels on the demo can be completed in under an hour with out prior experience. Don't have too many buildings under construction at once, remember 1 complete contructor produces more than 1000 uncomplted ones! Using a 'turtle' offence, which means roll your blasters forward and build constructors along with them is a good way to beat the hard missions. Immediately send chains of constructors out to strategic spots (3 at most) and build blasters there. great game, close enough to 5 stars from me.
Did you know that Gyan1010's comment is very funny"So what if its an Idle game, I'm not giving you a rating higher than other games just because you admit your a boring game in the instructions. ONE STAR TO YOU!!" ... Is this 'game' clever? yes ... except it's not a game is it? no it is not! It is an animation that varies.
gave sch1 5 stars. gave this, sch2, 1 star. why? well it's the same game on worse. Some ok new ideas that are poorly developed and badly implemented. Most people dont want to labor away at a game like this. It would be good if it took maybe 20 mins to get everything.
I think that people will criticize the games aiming, not realizing that it's an accurate portrayal and I hope no changes are made as a result; especially with pistols. It would seem that the 'Mouse Up' event for the repair slider is set to the slider object (rather than stage) which can be tricky to get it to sit in the right position and changing that would be good. Also a small bit of text explaining how to use the slider might help those not used to such things. My final score print out was "Wave Number 29 x 1000 = undefined" but does not seem to be broken other than that.... I'd like to see a bipod attachment, and night combat could be a great addition to this game or its sequel (hint hint). Thanks for the great game! oh and I am still curious how to activate the easter egg if there is one?
Made it to lvl 29 and my thoughts are: Great game. A solid 4 at least. The portrayal of the weapons is very nicely done and (although of course people will argue) there is a clearly a great knowledge of what this game is about (Weapons!). I found the sniper was totally useless I got more out of a $200 grenade than a $2000 sniper because by the time you need him, he dies too quickly and before that he is just not needed. There is a real massive jump from the pistol to the rifles which was interesting, it pretty much reset the difficulty. Thats not a criticism at all, I like that aspect.
The best aspect of this game is that when your eyes glaze over from repetitive boredom, it is so easy and simply that you can still progress through the levels.
Wow. This is not just a game this is a real experience! I have not been so impressed with a game for years (including all the many ones that I pay for) Congratulations to the creators for a slice of excellence.
This is so very close to being a great game. If only the colours were set in such a way that enemy ships and enemy fire could be differentiated. The way it is now comes across as difficult with out being challenging.
