Whataday: Thanks for the pep talk, but winning challenge 15 on your fourth try was 100% luck and 0% strategy. No amount of tactics can save you when the game decides to kill you on the first turn again, and again, and again.

VERY IMPORTANT: After each world, go to the menu instead of continuing. From there you can save your progress, and replay levels if you wish to do so. And you will want to, because there are gates that require a certain level to pass that are difficult or impossible to get by without doing so. Please rate up to help new players.

Imagine all the added hilarity if this was awarded a badge. Make a seperate points challenge too; I want drama.

Truly epic. I haven't laughed this hard at a flash game since the ending of You Have to Burn the Rope! And that was quite a while ago.

I'd rather have the Comedy Central filler.

The good part: Very moody, quite suspenseful, fitting music and rather good sound effects and voice acting. The bad part: Fumbling around in circles looking for sprite droppings kills the pacing, and it's really frustrating to find all but one, a problem that apparently happens often. To be honest, this collecting feels out of place anyway and should have been left out altogether. Also, in my first game during the fight after you relocate your girlfriend, the monster decided to back up right to the corner making it impossible to hit him and thus made the game impossible to finish. Because of these things, it's a game that goes from fun to annoying and back again.

The fact that only about a tenth of the people who completed the game were also able to finish the challenges illustrates how that badge should have been rated "impossible."

Eighteen months later I'm still unsure how this drudgery manages to be fun for anyone, let alone deserve a sequel.

Eh... You're right, Neko, it is a Flash problem but I'm sure I'm not the only one who's not going to go out of their way to change their version of Flash over a badge! ;) Some other games are having an issue as well, Level Up! comes to mind. I guess I'll be putting this one aside for later.

The controls are sloppy, the difficulty is extreme, the presentation is bare bones, but most of all it's just not a fun game. Game developers take note: an original gameplay mechanic is not a game, it's a tech demo.

Might be okay if it didn't stop to load something from the server every twenty seconds for every little thing you try to do. It's also a curious design choice to place a new player into a first battle where chances are pretty good that they'll get their ass beat. Sorry Kong, I don't have the patience for slow-as-mollasses Kred-based games anymore.

Neat game. There's definitely a bit of a learning curve, but it's not hard to win once you get used to it. Invest in your Mine, Market and Palace early for better resource gain. Keep Market purchases at a minimum until it's fully upgraded. Try to upgrade your catapult at least once every chapter (three levels). Don't hold back in recruiting and sending forces during the battle. If you do these things, you should be able to overwhelm every opponent. The last boss hardly touched me, and I never used the reload/pause glitch.

It's okay. It's an original concept and quite simple and easy for a puzzle game, which may appeal to the younger crowd. Remember that not everyone is capable of tackling a game like Hexiom, for example. Not having an autosave is a bad design choice, however.

Fun game. Because of its design, it allows for more startegy and skill on your part instead of dumb luck on platform placement, like in Hedgehog Launch. For those comments I see about running into too many red fireflies: it's because you're going too fast. Lay off the gas a little, especially when you hit a yellow firefly. Going balls to the wall from the beginning leaves you no time to react to anything.

I can see it now... "Truth in Advertising Badge (medium, 15 points): Finish all sixteen auto levels. This has to be the easiest challenge ever, considering all of them solve themselves on their own, right? Right?"
