I think it's obvious the dev(s) wasn't(/weren't) thinking clearly when implementing the Holiday Tree item, which is COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE to obtain by legitimate means. If it were... I dunno... say... a quarter of its current price, then maybe players will actually be able to obtain it before the event grinds to a halt. (But that's probably never gonna happen, so... Yeah. No tree for anyone, I guess.)
I've got a bad feeling that nobody playing this (unless they play it 24/7 or are just FILTHY CHEATERS) will be able to legitimately accrue enough Winter Joy for the item that requires them for purchasing purposes. I mean, seriously, you only get 10 for every LEGENDARY snowman you build (you don't get any for lower grades) and there's a 3-hour cooldown period before you can build another one. There's no way you'll be able to get enough for a Holiday Tree before the event comes to an end.

if you believe that the game worth's 1/5 then rate it 1/5, if you believe it worth's 5/5 then rate it 5/5. The rate should always reflect your feelings :)
One notable flaw here is how some of the puzzle grids are too vague to solve by logic alone and actually REQUIRE guesswork. As far as Picross goes, this is actually a BAD thing. Guesswork should NEVER be a required element for ANY grid.
Why is it we get nowhere near enough time to complete the event item quota? Maybe it's because they require a RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF DIFFICULT TO OBTAIN ITEMS, making the items with the highest resource demands (*koffCornucopiakoffGreaterCornucopiakoff*) borderline impossible to craft in time? (Chance of lesson being learned so as the same can't be said for upcoming events: unlikely.)
I can't help but be a tad disappointed that the permanent booster upgrades are added up rather than multiplied. (e.g. All Profits boosts go x3>>x6>>x9 etc. rather than x3>>x9>>x27 and so on.) The way the current system works means you get progressively LESS for your Holy Bars with each upgrade.
@CerotechOmega: I actually mentioned this in a previous post, but yes, you do keep seasonal resources when you prestige. (Although, to be honest, the "reward" you get when you prestige is nowhere near as ample as it was prior to the major "update".)
Only one item in an Ender Chest... Über or not, it's totally not worth a Prestige. (Considering you only get a paltry 3 Ender Pearls for your troubles.) Man, this game truly is way more unrewarding now than it was before the "update".
@Ladyhawke312: As far as I can tell, seasonal blocks remain after Prestige. Special blocks used to remain as well, but since the big "update", those now disappear. Still, I can't help but feel that said big "update" has been way more of a big letdown. It's almost as if the dev(s) do(es)n't want us to succeed in these "events" without forking over huge sums of (real) cash.
