OK. The timing element is innovative, I suppose. There ends up being just a little too much information for me to hold in my head on the later levels to make it really enjoyable, tho... I had to crack out a paper and pencil...
Top game! Sure, it has it's faults (there's grind aplenty, there are puzzles which can only be solved by getting them wrong a few times, and the difficulty curve hits you like a brick wall on level 3), but it's innovative, fun to work out strategies against new opponents, and fun to just play. Please can we have a sequel?
Pretty cool, but it feels very limited in terms of player choice. Perhaps it still would with a wider selection of endings but it couldn't hurt, could it? I mean, I can't believe there isn't an ending where you just lurk unseen in the depths for the entire duration of the game...
Usually with me you don't have to try too hard if you add a techno soundtrack to a game (see Pwong II!!) but this one could be improved a lot. The ground dissapearing off the screen on level 1 when you jump = bad, and levels 2 & 3 just don't give you enough to do (Level 2 reminds me of Avalanche (http://www.thegamehomepage.com/play/avalanche/), which is much better)
Atmospheric TCG style game. I liked it! It's pretty random, but then it's not so hard to outplay the AI. Oh, and the challanges are random and crappy, tho. Avoid those.
