Where I get the theme, I also find it rather odd that you don't know how to move yourself. Seriously, that's not really a fun mechanic, it's just a waste of time while you try different keys to see what they do. Not that it is difficult, merely annoying to have to bother with. In other words, I fail to see the entertainment value of playing around with default keybindings that simply aren't told to you (in most cases) here, although the rest of the game works as it should.

Not a bad game, although definitely a few flaws. As for those complaining about chests, buy a couple refresh scrolls for use when opening them... it is much cheaper than a key, and unless you have very bad luck you will be fine. End game just buy keys if you care. Personally, I failed chests late game, so that if I wanted to run the map again I could use them to farm some mana...

How to badge of the day and max upgrades: 1. Max out bombers and bouncers. You really don't need to worry about combos too much at this stage, but you can get some pretty nice ones doing this. 2. Max out miners. This gives you the easiest setup to get points. 3. Farm points. You should be leveling at least until your next level takes 1600+ xp to reach. At this point you should be able to maximize both homing and gunner. This will make the BOTD medium 90 badge easy as you have unlimited fuel. 4. Make sure to have boom, get boosted to about 80 via the gunners, and hit boost. 5. Enjoy easy farming for the combo badges, as you have infinite fuel once the full upgrading is done.

I'm making a ton of money sitting here shooting with a few friends while another collects... PAUSE! Not what I want! Unpause, shoot for a bit, PAUSE! Stupid game, goes again for a bit. PAUSE! The activity timer pause is unacceptable. Having made this game with it, you should go look in a mirror, facepalm, and then hang your head in shame. Then you should fix it.

As the game is made by King.com I simply am going to refuse to participate today. Whereas I don't really care about certain games that they have essentially stolen from other publishers, the act itself makes me unwilling to support them in any way whatsoever.

The problems here *why it is only mediocre*: 1. No money for tea. That's just bad business. 2. No larger unit purchases. 30 units is a little too small. 3. I guess that means the whole setup on the monetary end. Seriously, if there was no money involved why in the world would anybody have sent the tea all the way to Britain? Why not just keep the opium profits at that point, and say screw the Brits? *Note, did this with the last shipment on the game I got the hard badge, just bought and sold more opium. Tea was at 70+ and opium stayed down near the 20s. The final mission really doesn't affect the score, so who cares about the Brits during it? Bad design IMO.*

The inventory controls need to be better. I was stuck with one of the 'items' selected and no way to unequip it other than a complete restart. Simply making the items go to different buttons or spots would fix the problem. *Still very much just another random tossing game.*

Solid physics game, but those bees/wasps getting hung up on terrain is a little annoying (outside the 2 levels where that is beneficial, of course.) For anyone curious, the maximum possible score is ~39200 total... just in case people are trying for the score board and wonder where the cheating mark is.

Also, I am wondering how we are supposed to know we are at max speed for the enemy/boulder immunity skill. There doesn't seem to be anything to say that we are... which makes that talent seem rather useless as trying to use it just makes you likely to suffer.

Well, that was an easy story mode. Get leveled a bit, and start using attacks on all enemies, and you can almost ignore the rest of everything. Seems rather odd, but oh well! *Note, you can't just ignore everything, but darn it if you won't go up in health slowly with any amount of care at that point.*

The healing balance feels off, and you practically have to get and shelter extra members sometimes. Bosses have a huge range of difficulty, so there is a huge random factor for how well things will go. Boss rewards are also not balanced, with some of the easier fights giving far better rewards than tougher fights. I want to love this game, but I don't. It could use a new healing system, including having the healing skills worth using. There should be some measure of balancing done over again. Character powers need a balance check. It would be a nice QoL to ask if you want to use glyphs on the boss when not on the final fight. Finally I wish the battle maps were a little more tactical, with areas of control or something to prevent characters from just walking right past enemies, and maybe a little larger. Maybe I am being tough on it, but I have high expectations in regard to genres and producers here.

Flying is nice, but a little overpowered considering that enemies simply won't use it. It is nice in limiting the platformer aspects of levels when hunting for dragons or for farming for new unlocks, but man does it negate difficulty... which just makes things feel like even more of a grind hunting down the things you haven't found.

The game feels like the costs are too high. Honestly by the time you are getting the last 2 upgrades you already have achieved the ridiculous combo effect, and those last 2 upgrades really fail to shine. Making extra grabbers and one of the other upgrades cost less would make the game pacing feel better. Still not a bad little time waster.
