Thank you muchly for getting me back on my feet, and I have been advancing. I do notice something with quests... My recent one is for 87 Autunite Boots of Magic, 87 Kunzite Helms of magic, and 80 realgar swords of power. The reward is 3.697Qd$. That is quite the charity case for that order. I sold one similar helm at 8x(average price) and got over half a Qd$. This is 87, and that is just part of the order.
One thing I didn't like was just how short the crafted potions lasted. Using a several million value 30 second potion is worse than clicking on the bar. 4 minutes is passable I guess but if it were 4 mins for the base and 30 for the critical they would be tempting to use rather than sell.
For those of us who lost a bunch of progress and have been unable to play for this period, it would be nice if you provided a save file say at the 50 quest level so we do not have to restart from nothing.
Resetting every 24 or 48 hours is passable so long as two things are going on. 1)You are spending very few angels relatively(this is the case earlyish on the moon when you are only spending 11k angels and you might be getting 200 million angels for a 15% reset).
2) It doesn't take you long to get back to hitting the wall.
5/7 get level 500 miner. Is that even possible with the progression? I am at level 220 and it is nearly a million gold per skill point. Since the gold is pretty linear and the gold cost exponential, level 500 would be somewhere above the trillions. I don't see the coin ever coming in that fast.
It appears that people who are having trouble with saves are using firefox or some variant thereof(I use palemoon). As for the statement you made, of course if you tested the game on ONLY ONE browser you are likely to run into trouble. Just because something works on chrome doesn't mean it will work on IE, Firefox, Safari, etc. Especially not only chrome actually because it does some things...differently...
I lost quite a few hours of time in the game and have little desire to start from scratch. If the game finally works with firefox at some future point, I would want a savefile at least some of the way through it.
Thanks for the Input.
Edit : I've tested on firefox (Windows version) and it does save correctly (for me at least). I'm still looking for the cause of that bug.
The buildings should have a purpose. If they did then it would solve a lot of the other problems people have with the game. IE if upgrading the fountain gave a chance of critical strikes, or updating the campfire improved productivity, etc.
If you only buy 4 not 5 woodcutters at the start and spend your money elsewhere, the game does not open up and you have to restart as you will never be able to make ore etc.
By the way, I completely evened out my crew for a test. I took one boss with a semi-evened group, and one with a totally evened group. If you have the first group 10 levels above the rest of your crew you finish the boss with a LOT of shields left at the end. If you have the first group 3 levels ahead of the rest of your crew, it finishes up roughly even. If you are at 100% level with the first group not ahead at all or slightly behind, you take out all the shields but the guy has hit points left(significant numbers of).
Oh and it doesn't matter if I am active or passive. The boss I woke up to this morning had shields left but no hit points. And if I play it where I am actually doing a lot of the damage there are shields left but no hit points.
The game kind of forces you to be balanced. I *DO* keep the first set of heroes at 1 tier above my others when I can. I also ignore the collect ooze under when it lets me (too often it MANDATES you level all your heroes roughly evenly) but yes. And it happened again with this boss. Thousands of required shields to go through after he is out of hit points. I do not understand how you are getting the opposite.
I disagree about the shields. I am up to 81/71s and I have not had ONE time where the boss ran out of shields before hit points. This last boss had over 5000 of each shield with 0 hit points. Really I think if he is out of hit points then armor hits should do 2 points instead of 1 and if he is out of a relevant shield then his hit point damage should be doubled. Assuming it is relatively balanced that shouldn't really come up, but would in the case where one's gameplay massively favored one over the other.
Sigh -- I just found out something on level 110 this time around... You get 10 time cubes each time through at level 100 but the further time cubes are only ONE each kill, or at least that example was bringing me to 11.
