I first completed this game in 2013 and have played through it roughly once a year since then. No matter how many times I play this game, I love it more every time.
Thank you for adding level 5! For those wondering why people complained about a lack of tutorial, it's because level 5 wasn't there to leave you no choice but to ground pound on the bats. This is an excellent example of a developer listening to the comments and fixing the problem. Thank you!
Purely from a programming point of view, I'd LOVE to know how the dev has programmed things such that setting an autoclicker on the Repeat button doesn't work.
I'm betting that in a month or three, all these characters/mechanics they've developed with these little games will combine as the axe-throwing orc, the one-trick wizard, the sticky sorcerer etc. all form an adventuring party. It'll be like the Lost Vikings! (If you weren't already planning on this, I *highly* encourage you to do so!)
I'm enjoying this game but it really sucks at remembering my progress after I shut off my computer. I shouldn't have to do a hard save every time I quit for the night on an idle game.
Refreshing the page three times seems to have solved the problem. The first time, it loaded as though nothing was wrong. The second time, I loaded straight to the end of a battle against a cave bat but the map wouldn't load. The third time, it finally loaded to my last position pre-refresh and everything works again.
Make that 5 1/2 minute adventure: 0:01 following story, 0:30 figuring out how get out of the conversation screens (curse you little "..."!), 4:59 chopping trees.
:D Hi bro, what happens? Why it does not work properly?
