For those concerned that it takes too many clicks to raise affection at higher levels, keep in mind that dates and gifts (including the cheaper ones) raise affection much more quickly thank poking and flirting.
Some explanation of what exactly the Bonus Multiplier does would be kinda nice. Also, for trying to get the million hearts from clicks achievement, the play for a year achievement, etc., perhaps the bonus multiplier could be applied to those to make them slightly more attainable.
Okay, first thing I see is that the company logo is a reference to Legends of Kyrandia and I am pleased. Then I remember that those darn fireberries were one of the most frustrating puzzles from the game and I begin to worry.
Occasional (happened first time but not second) glitch in #13. One rogue orange square squirmed away from the rest and behind a patch of blue, causing failure.
I swear I am never going to complete this quest. I've been hovering around 300 points for over 2 freakin' HOURS! There's just no way to beat a few of those rare cards (like that stinking Owl's Eye sniper bow).
Ridiculously easy way to eliminate everything:
1. Get an AoE rune (as large as possible)
2. Get a rune that makes clouds
3. Get absorb
4. Make a spell with the AoE + cloud and cast it
5. Make a spell with the AoE + absorb and soak up the clouds
6. Repeat steps 4 + 5 until you max out on Flux
7. Rest a while
8. Repeat steps 4-7 until you have a game breaking level of power (e.g. millions of damage with each shot) with incredible duration.
9. Rampage!
Tactic for final boss: Anybody remember Zelda 2? :)
1. Get the highest greatsword - gotta have the knockback!!!
2. After you open the final door, hightail it to the far left edge.
3. Face right and hold down you attack button of choice (or hit an autoclicker).
4. I hope you brought some snacks because this is going to take a while.
Good luck!
For those having difficulty, let me make a recommendation to help you. Google "Words that start with _____" or "Words that end with ____" in another window. That should help you get off to a good start.
This game really needs an "Export" feature like other idle/incremental games. Flash crashed while I was playing and I lost all my progress. Seems like I'm done with this game.
For anyone having trouble getting a decent combo on the Critical Hit training, just watch the bottom of the scarecrow's stick. You can even (like I did) put a post-it note on the screen to cover it all up. Only strike when you see the stick rise off the floor. For me, at least, it was much easier than trying to watch the head or the symbols.
Major bug. After having hired all party members and getting tons of space in my castle, I decide to fire some of the lower level employees to get more money from renting out space. Unfortunately, firing those employees doesn't stop progress on those jobs. Firing the first 5 (Housewares - Convoy) makes Hunting Trolls - Hunting Dragons not progress.
It seems that no matter what upgrades I get, my speed multiplier stays at 0.01. Is this an issue with displaying the changes or am I not actually getting the promised speed boost when I level up, etc.?
So, according to what I'm seeing in comments, the first boss isn't working on Linux+Firefox, Chrome or Safari. Does Achilles015 secretly work for Microsoft in the "forcing people to us IE" department?
