If I were the dev of 1 and 2, I'd seriously be considering a lawsuit for besmirching the good name of the series. Or I'd start planning a REAL Upgrade Complete 3 and mock this one mercilessly.
Maybe there's a perk for this in the late game but I'd love to see a way to improve our heroes' initiative. Watching the "attack all" monsters destroy my archer before he can get off a shot with nothing I can do about it (other than spending spells) is kinda frustrating.
Can we PLEASE get a list of what enemy special ability names mean? Or better tooltips which explain what those abilities are? I understand wanting to leave things like "trick" as a mystery but things like "ironclad" and "Berserk" could really do with some explanation.
So, other than getting more dark mana for perks, is there any advantage to resetting? That being the case, since one can't get allocate points to the perks until reaching level 15 on each run, is there any way to actually speed up the process of reaching level 15 other than the tiny benefit from the artifacts you pick up?
For those of you who played Ad Cap, do you guys remember how long they had major balance issues even with just Earth, let alone the Moon and Mars? I remember the same complaints about hitting walls that we're hearing here. Whether it's Happy Hippo, Sad Panda or Honey Badger Who Doesn't Give A %$&#, idle games have these problems.
Charles, I'm going to assume you mean Quill's auto heart counter. Her stat which activates the auto heart gain is Luck, which is one of the last stats/hobbies to unlock. So, until then, Quill is all about manual stimulation ;~).
Wish list (beyond what's already promised):
Click for job/hobby progress the same way you do for affection.
Dismiss text without changing girl's pose. You can't see the bottom half of a lot of the poses because they change back to their default pose when you dismiss the text.
*POKE* popup text should fade more quickly, again for the purpose of appreciating the artwork.
Achievements/Girls list should scroll faster when using the mouse scroll wheel.
A display on the job menu of how many levels you have left to master.
It would be even better if it could tell you what levels you've already gotten achievements for so as to avoid having to search through the achievements list and guessing which title goes with which job.
Failing that, have the job-related achievements state which base job they go with.
Thanks for all your hard work and thanks in advance for considering my suggestions!
