If you're going to rip off another game, at least make it user friendly. Getting new plants, tools, etc. with absolutely no explanation of what makes each one different and no way of figuring out which ones you want except putting them on the front lines and hoping they do something good is just dumb.
For future installments, it would be nice if your first ally could somehow be arranged to be a different class from the character you create, regardless of which class you choose.
Much as I loved this game the first time I played it, I wish I had waited until the badge system was in place so Kong wouldn't forget my accomplishment.
Upgrade idea: Pay off U.S. National Debt (keeping it accurate to the current number, it's about 17 trillion right now). Reward: Never pay taxes again! (All investments increase profit by 5%)
Offline mode was working fine for me until this most recent "Fix." It has now stopped working for me. It bites when you're earning in the duodecillions per minute and those hours off don't count.
After a slow grind up to 20 billion angel investors, I'm suddenly at over a quadrillion in a couple of days. I don't know what all you guys changed but I like it!
A thought re: x1 purchases vs x10 purchases being affordable or not. Different color shadings could be used to indicate what's affordable (e.g. gray to mean nothing is affordable, green to indicate that the amount you want to buy is affordable, blue to indicate that some amount is affordable but less than you want to buy, etc.)
Papa's Game Designeria. Clients come to your store ordering lots of different kinds of games but you only know how to make the same crappy game over and over again. You take the order, make the basic -ia game then slather it in a gimmick sauce and serve it up as quickly as possible. Your score is determined by how well you please the tiny target market that actually enjoys these games.
For some reason, when I try to design more than one gun, the second one doesn't show up. I tried deleting my first gun, thinking that might be the problem, but it didn't fix it, meaning that I now can't add any more of my first gun to my ship. Bleh.
Note about Slow: You cannot reduce enemy speed to lower than 30%. Once you get to "lowers enemy speed by 70%", stop putting points into it. It should probably be hard-capped there.
