Not a bad classic style hallway shooter, but you don't do anything with it. Particularly bad considering the horror theme. All sorts of opportunties for jump scares, camera swings, and the like. Yet everything is predictable and most every mob shows up in a nice line. Not a horrible game, simply average in most every way. Oh, and minus points for the hong kong special on the models.
Odd the way some people think 'I'm a creative genius! I'll try to make a pointless/upbeat game have a lousy ending! That will show my true brilliance!' I'll never understand that.
Terrible game design. Bosses are boring and poorly balanced, and the game is just running into mobs with your face then respawning so you can do so again. Dull.
So I skipped mighty and went straight to hardcore... and don't seem to be able to get the 'completed all mighty levels' achievement anymore. Kind of odd.
Ite. So. 350 seconds. 9 holes. 38 seconds a hole. Which would... maybe.. be doable. Except, you know, the game adds 5 seconds a stroke. Which you're going to need, bare minimum, 2 per hole. More on the longer ones. That's 180 extra seconds out of your 350. This badge hardly seems doable.
Personally, I find this rather dull. The extra layers create unnecessary eyestrain on a genre that already has such issues, the storytelling method is lifted from Sands of Time (not a bad thing, just noting), and I'm getting tired of being killed by animation time and not reaction time. Bland.
Reasonably fun, I suppose, but it a) Has no proper ending (I want at least a congrats page for slogging through your upgrade fest), and b) the primary growth mechanic actually negatively impacts your ability to play the game. I found I got much further when I AVOIDED taking your powerups. Not a great design choice.
This game was created around the same time as Mob Wars (a few years ago) and only recently have we started bringing our games to Kongregate, so the similarity is to be expected. For something different, we have Kingdom of Thrones which is still available for K+ users. :)
FFS the survival rate of your search parties is abysmal, and there doesnt' appear to be any real way to prevent it. I tried stacking firepower, and they still all die. Not worth the hassle of playing this silly game.
Marksman is pretty well abysmal. Your sniper barely zooms (less than the AR in fact), and while it does more damage per shot, it's largely impossible to get a one shot kill at any decent range, and it still only does ~75 per click. Not going to get it done against 300-400 hp players. The AR is marginally better, but at that point you might as well play something less squishy with the same offensive functionality. Very disappointing.
