Grindy game with an endless and repetitive chore of missions and greedy reward system. A good example of how a game could be a lot better with a bit of tweaking. The dev should listen to the comments.
AI has zero thinking time on lab. This makes me angry. I'd also like to know if there were any bonuses for unlocking the hats. Will I get bonuses from them?
Would be 5/5 if not for the HUGE bugs. I personally got cornered by appr. 16 demons and locked into an insta-death circle. Upon reloading the game (yeah, menu buttons were not responsible anymore) I lost all my HP potions and started with 1 HP point. Fluctuating difficulty moments such as this makes me give the game 3/5 only.
Another remark: Zeth's attacks are practically undodgeable without 4/5 drive upgrade. It also shoots bullets while attacking so the bullets are travelling horizontally. If you dodged Zeth by hiding in one of the bottom corners you will be hit by at least one of his bullets during a ramming attack. So you need at least 4/5 shield as well. Pretty unfair. Plus it takes a very long time to get to him on slow mode.
Too many mistakes for me and too boring. The same enemies get stronger so you feel upgrading is actually downgrading. On Level 11 I grind the same loot as on Level 5. Att rate upgrade has no practical impact. No idea what toggles the burst attack on mouse control scheme and when. Enemies easily spread attack on 3/4rd of the screen leaving you with a bullet hell situation or worse. Bosses tend to glitch out like reported. I fall asleep on any speed level other than fast. This game has a lot of promise, but needs a bit of tweaking and some extra work.
That's why I put in configurable controls :-)
