Hi Moshdef,
I bumped into a possible glitch. I noticed earlier how the character in the underground cavern can teleport short distances by simply jumping onto moving platforms with bad timing (hitting the platform around the guy's belly) but now I managed to teleport onto the ground level which meant banishment to limbo.
Otherwise I'm enjoying the game and can't wait to find out more about the story.
This was refreshingly stupid. Something out of my middle-school years. :) And the music kind of matched it.
Why don't you make a silly game that has it's own concept? I'm sure you could do good. :)
And what's with the trolled comments??? Trollo.
The music gave me a hard time, but I didn't find a mute button, so I turned my amp down. The scrolling gave me a motion sickness-like feeling. The power bar gave me a freaking stroke! I kept shooting limps shots coz I wanted to start charging my shot by pressing.
Much to do here.
The screen management ruined it for me. Then there were the point issues, and then, some skeletons were unreachable by 2 out of 3 weapons... some rocks rolling upwards on slopes, and last but not least the level that solved itself without a shot. :D
Khmmm... :)
Many mistakes here. Money is plenty even with 3 perk points in it. I basically bought the best gun in a matter of a few re-runs of the first big balls level. The next dozen levels are a walk in the park. With the big-ass sword on your back, stand in a corner, shooting: no one ever touched me.
The perk points will never be enough to unlock everything, and at the same time, level up a stat nicely. By the time you get the needed amount you have long finished the game. Maybe a skill reset?
Why does the game ask every time if I want to buy or sell an item if it gets refunded full price, Why put the healing packs into crates? On later levels the scattering gun shots will break them first before you'd even see the first enemy and waste them by scooping them up with full health.
I think we have an entertaining game here, but it needs a bit of meditation on the dev's side. Graphics and sounds show a remarkable effort, and the game, is a very good office time waster.
Nice visuals and great interface, but the towers are not too good. Air turrets cause infinitissimal damage. It's easier to air strike air units than buy a horde of turrets. The cannon fires way too slow. It fires at the past position of any unit, 90% of most units simply outrun the blast. Comm tower? Still don't see the use. On map 5 the last enemy defeated my base at one strike, with the map full of machine guns and a few cannons. THere is a lot to balance in this game. It was fun though till it made me angry.
Not that hot. Some missions are unnecesarily difficult. wave 2/10 easily drops your shield to almost nothing. Some missions require you to switch ship in combat, the text (story) is pretty much a mistery to those trying to fight...
I'd say the game could benefit from difficulty settings. Maybe a bit of development in ships? Fun game until it gets frustratingly difficult and then repetitive.
