Nice Hungarian references. Kolbasz- sausage, Rhonda Gonosz - Ugly Evil hehe. Nice. All in all the game is very much a very welcome throwback on the more successful adventure games of the 90's. It needs a bit of polish with the inventory item combination availability but other than that- nice.
Very nice game. Resource production limits the upgrades so that you actually need to allocate carefully. I like the combination between tower defense and tactical timing a lot. It's difficult enough to make you think about where and what to allocate but it doesn't force you to replay and grind needlessly.
Also, the final boss is a sneaky little demon lord. I could see him cowering behind his suicide troops, trying to weave and loop his way in, but to no avail. An army of uncaring golems mashed him to a red pulp :)
The hardest game on the site, possibly the world, maybe the universe and, one could easily argue, in the realm of possibilities. By hardest I mean hardest to complete and get all the secrets. Excellent.
Ok, so. The game itself is nice and in keeping with the spirit of the previous works. You did, however, pad out the gameplay time by concealing the essential items in locations that have no clues attatched to them. That seems like the only serious shortcoming.
Not bad. The tower defense genre is definitely improved by the added elements, even though the focus mining for resources takes distracts from enjoying the monster slaying part. I would suggest separating mining for resources and fighting monsters. Controlling the fighting prince could add to the entertainment value and replace having to mine while the defense is going on.
Here is how Stu's job interview usually goes : A: "Can you jump?" Stu: "Yes". A: "Double jump? Stick to the ceiling, levitate, fire projectiles out of your body, ressurect after death? " Stu: "Yes".
A: "Ok, how about sleep?" Stu : "Well only if nobody touches the keyboard for a while" .
HIRED!
Phew, that was quite a difficult set. Level 36 was the most devilish for me. Level 40 is doable in 100 steps. Thank you for a good and challenging game. 5/5
I can't tell you how predictable it was to have a boss within the final boss. I'm getting tired of the worn monster within monster final encounter. Tired. Is that how stuff works? When was it last time you defeated something only to find something stronger within it? Sigh..ruined anotherwise cute game for me.
Lvl. 40 was the only challening one in this and the trophy(ies) were a nice touch and well deserved after it heh. Excellent game 5/5. Now for the hard set...
I don't know what happened but the hard badge just got a lot harder to get. You must have tweaked with the chance of getting extra health because the first anchor I saw was given by the second final boss. This is ridiculous.
I see what you did there.
