I enjoyed it. And I have no problem with paying money for a game I enjoy and help independent developers get paid for their work and help them make more fun games.
I love the fact there is still innovating games even in the tired (boring) idle genre. This concept has a lot of potential and the dev will either be proud that people are going to emulate it or upset that people can't come up with their own ideas. Either way us gamers get something new.
This is a solid hack n slash game but yes repetitive. What makes these types of games fun and addicting is the loot drops and character development. This game is generic in those two categories. There are a couple quality of life features that need to be in games like these... a couple off the top of my head is holding shift to keep ranged chars from moving while shooting and hot keys for skills/magic. And while the music is good (it just doesn't fit with the game play) I'm glad you finally took my advice and gave the option to turn it off.
Wow! Very challenging at the end! I almost gave up but the endearing/sad story kept me going. I know I'm late in playing this game but it's sometimes hard to find these gems in the mix of all the idle/pay to play games... For what it's worth I really enjoyed it!
What does upgrading the troop spells do? Also in the description of the troop spell it reads: summon a band of troop to defend your tower... That sounds kinda gross... a band of troop? I should be either "summon troops to defend your tower" or "summon a band of troops to defend your tower". Also it reads duration: until unit's die... it should be "until the units die" or "until unit's death".
Need 1 or 2 free refresh(s) a day for the arena. Having it cost 50 gems will only discourage new players. I'm super low ballin' it cause I really want 4-5 but the dev is charging an arm and a leg for a one day bonus (blazon) so I guess I need to ask for crumbs before the bread.
Thanks for the comment!
We hold promotions in which you can get the blazon of the king for free. Also, a blazon can be obtained for free from a merchant with a fixed chance. It can be bought from a merchant for crystals too.
this should have a target system. like my back row heroes always attack the enemies back row. So you don't have so many wasted attacks on the spot where an enemy was. Also if i use a rage ability and the enemy died before that rage ability was able to hit then it should just go to the next target and not waste the rage ability.
Did consider this but Nintendo has some good lawyers I hear ;)
