New notes on Shaman Swing speed. When Mental Agility is adding INT to AGI, it correctly decreases swing speed. When it is converting AGI to INT, it actually increases swing speed. You can test this by equipping a full INT set (no agi) and putting one point at a time into MA. You can see the swing speed decrease with each point. The opposite happens when you equip full agi gear and put points into MA.
The best workaround until it's fixed is probably to wear all INT gear as much as possible, so you can still get swing speed under 1.3 while keeping MA maxed out.
This is false, you have it backward. If you are wearing all INT and you put points into MA, you will see your time between swings decrease as it should. Please be careful not to spread misinformation. If there is an actual bug please give me more specifics on what you did, but I'd like everyone to know that MA is working correctly in all testing that I have done. I think you made a mistake superwombat, remember, if attack speed becomes a lower number, that is a good thing.
Shaman Bug - Mental Agility talent lowers swing speed. The more points I put into Mental Agility the slower my swing speed becomes. This is counterproductive with talents like Bloodlust, which are really only useful if your swing speed is under 1.3. It _should_ be increasing swing speed from the extra agility added through Int.
Not a bug, the formula for attack speed is based on the ratio of attack speed to base damage, since intellect increases base damage for shaman, increases in intellect relative to agility will lower attack speed. So if you had more agility before taking mental agility, it is possible that it will slow your swing speed. The benefit in damage far outweighs the cost though.
I was stoked to get a message from one of the Devs on my comments. It inspired me to go back and check out the game again using some of his suggestions. For one thing, Hot Dog mode is really easy, and a fine way to rack up some early money. I really enjoy the physics and the ability to twist and turn in midair. I do have a suggestion however. When launching, I'm virtually always accelerating, which makes me do a nosedive as soon as my car leaves the ground. Also, the left/right arrows are yaw control when you're wheels are down, but roll control when you're airborne (While A and D take over for Yaw control) That seems really awkward. To fix both problems, I'd move Pitch and Roll to the WASD keys, and have Yaw controlled by the left/right arrow keys both on the ground and in the air. Upgrading my rating to 4/5, communicative devs, and a stunning core game.
thanks! regarding wasd, i will be testing out different control setups to see how it works - if it does i'll put it in as an option. others have mentioned this issue as well (and i agree with you guys it could be better), one way or the other i will have something to try and correct this for the next update : )
I can't even come close to keeping up with the opponents on the very first race... in a straight line they out accellerate and have a higher top speed, not to mention flawless driving. Since I can't win even the first race, I can never improve my car. This game looks like it could have had potential, but since all I can do is lose the first race over, and over, and over, and over, I'm going to go play something else. 0/5
Love the game. When playing a mage, I went for AOE speedgrinding. At level 51, I did 10 Arcane Blast, Conjure, and PoM, with 1 point in Mana Shield. 10 points in Frost Nova. Set my rest meter to 99%. With this setup I could pull and kill 3 mobs at a time, resting for 1 second between each pull to fill my health back up. The frost nova/PoM combo keeps the mobs stunlocked while I kill them. After that I filled up Blizzard and Cone of Cold. At level 70 I'm putting out over 1000DPS and .01 XP per second with that build.
It says to use the "mose" to play. I didn't have a mose, so i figured he had just misspelled "moose" I got a moose, but it didn't seem to work, instead he kicked a hole in my wall and crapped on my sofa. 1/5 until the sofa issue is fixed.
Kind of tedious. Fun for a few rounds, then got tiresome. Also, it's soccer. I know some third-world countries in Europe still think that soccer is called football, but that got changed a long time ago. :-D
This could be a fun game if you didn't REQUIRE hundreds of real dollars in order to play it. Every single thing needs to be purchased with real cash. This is not a free game.
around level 30 the enemies started coming only one at a time (new enemy wouldn't start until I killed the only one on the screen) This made the difficulty VERY easy, and also took forever to finish a level.
