At first I was thinking: "ok neat, lots of different bombs, nice tutorial" Then I finished the tutorial, and discovered that that was the entire game. Kind of dissapointing. This shouldn't be called a puzzle game neighter, there's no difficulty at all. The only times I had to retry a level was when a random pixel flew into something i wasn't supposed to damage.
Very nice idea, but needs a lot of work. Maybe add Worms-like wind effect?
Played this game on Newgrounds before I found it here. Gonna make the same comment. Not a bad game, I like the retro-look graphics and the whole time-line idea. Puzzles could indeed be a bit harder.
But, people, calm down. If this was the best storyline you ever read, go read some decent books, play some decent games or watch a decent movie. This plot can be summarized in like 5 lines.
Made my last comment at around day 20... Finished game at day 32 or something... Didn't upgrade any mod or switched weapons between those levels... Might be more interesting if max lev of mods were higher, maybe more different enemies, more weapons,... Maybe just start making another game.
Right now I'm building the 2nd part of my Do You Know Flash Games? quiz, and right after then we'll get beck to Alien anarchy. i promise that we'll implement your ideas in the sequel
VERY EASY AND WAY TO LONG. Also, what's the point of the crafting system if you can't combine different items for different results? Also, your henchmen (not hechman, like the tooltips say) switch guns on you. At first I was impressed by this, but then I had an endurance fight with a boss, and my henchman just kept spraying mines behind and above the boss, instead of switching to another gun and shoot at the boss...
Like the idea, some improvement is required though... I get the 'limited ore' idea, but why you got the bosses grabbing my resources and parts while I'm fighting them? Also, since my ship has the same shape and mobility as a skyscraper, I'd rather use my mouse to steer one of the collector claws or drones... That way I'd be able to grab the stuff I really want, instead of hoping my stupid claws grab it before I fly past it...
Shabby game, nothing new, and what's there is badly executed. Also way to easy... Also please move that 'arcade strategy' button... I often clicked it accidentally when shooting at flying enemies...
So we drop you off on the island, so you can walk wildly around on a grassy plain with no support to look for a camp" "Can't we just fly the helicopter over there? The camp is the only structure in a grass plain." "Start walking private!
Tactic for all levels till you got cavalry: clutter all troops together, preferably away from enemy spawning points.
Tactic for all levels when you got cavalry: same as before, but you can use cavalry to charge into enemy.
Fun to watch, but practically no strategy is required to win. It's harder to try and lose a level than to win.
Master, we killed or infected everyone in this city!" "Did you kill at least one with a grenade?" "Uhm no..." "Dammit, now we gotta kill everyone all over again!
gonna comment again, cause this game is really buggy for me... Can't deliver gems to my house, freeze time powerup doesn't end for me, haven't been able to finish any level, besides pressing F5 to reload game. Seriously no one else has this?
Controls are not responding well enough for this kind of game.
Also, this isn't a puzzle game, every level is trial and error. The rules are too random...
