I'm not sure what happened, but now the switch-weapon keys don't work. Neither the numbers nor Q-E. Gotta click with mouse. Made sure the settings were set to it, they are. *shrugs*
I don't entirely see a point to having 'hipfire' when I can aim at any time - maybe fire rate automatically is higher when firing from the hip, and leveling up the skill for it increases fire rate.
I like 'recoil' being the aiming skill, that's good.
You added crouching for a reason, I suppose, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Maybe increase accuracy, or make it so you can sneak up on guys from behind while crouching.
Love the game so far, though, gave it 5 out of 5 and added to my favorites.
It feels like King's Field. Which is a good thing.
Add more monsters and more variation between the melee weapons. And I know you probably just put the stats there as more a placeholder than anything, but maybe we could get a perk or something every 10 or 20 levels; like, say I level up in running to 20, and now I get a thing that lets me have a chance to dodge attacks at 5%, and that 5% goes up every 20 levels of running. Or something. Maybe when the jumping skill levels up I get a thing that lets me do more melee damage while jumping, and the damage percent goes up every 20 levels or something.
Putting this in two comments so it'll fit.
I seem to still be experiencing the bug where the regen+ rings don't work properly. I'm wearing two cultivation rings (+7 and +4) and my food's still going up at the same rate as my mana.
...
"ONE OF THE BEST GAMES"
"Best game I've ever played"
"Blows me away"
"This is one of the best games ever."
... Are you kidding me? It's passable. The controls are pretty terrible.
Rapidfire needs to be fixed. And I shouldn't have to choose between being able to use the only kind of item that allows me to collect money at a reasonable rate and another gadget spot. Let me put it in the diagonal slot, if anything. I'd rather not have to use it at all, though.
Wish I could just hold down the left-click for an auto-attack. Would be so much more convenient.
And scroll wheel would be nice to use, if scroll wheel was at all possible to be used with flash games without it scrolling up and down the window.
@punksush1 Couldn't agree more. The point of leveling up and getting skills should not be to then have the option of trading damage for something that becomes useless without damage upgrades.
