You only get experience for completing an entire enemy area. For example: if you're having trouble making progress on "coastal cliff", grind "old Tunnel" for a while to up your stats

This game is so buggy. I pour wax on the envelope then try to hit it with the stamp. 5 times I get "There's something missing", then the 6th try actually stamps the wax. The skull puzzle won't accept the correct answer. I can't go past that because the game is literally broken. There's this thing called "beta testing". Try it.
If your research gets too high, the cost and r/s overflows and goes negative. This occurs if you have 4 thorium reactors and dump somewhere around a billion into research
