So... I destroyed Earth (which means that I destroyed everything on Earth), and I still didn't get the medium badge? Well, it seems that I need to try on Mars. -Pip
I really wanted to like this game and paid kreds on some introductory offers. After about 24 hours, I hit a wall (half way through chapter 3 in Journey, league 19 in PvP "Fight" arena, no wins in the Dark Tower, etc). I would find that no matter how well I played, even though my deck was probably good for a new player (all epic and legendary that work together and have synergies) the other player would board wipe me with one card (didn't matter how well I played before or after, I could not prevent/react/recover). I am unable to progress. Even the event seems to require you to pay a significant amount of money to advance more than half way. After zero progress in the past 4 days (playing pretty aggressively), this game seems more like "work" than fun to me. This feedback seems indicative of recent comments and the later forum posts, so I assume it doesn't get any better. My in game “teacher” never responded to my requests for help. Shame. I was looking for a game to spend my kreds on.
I spend 150 gems for a monster... and get a rare sphynx? Parton my language... but that is bullshit. I was reminded why I didn't bother to get the medium badge. I will not likely be coming back.
Perhaps is is my poor platforming skills, but it seems that the hit detection is off a bit. I seem to die even before I hit the spikes on the floor. -Pip
Oh.... I guess X freezes the game. I haven't made it off the first screen yet and I am already frustrated with this game. Might want to playtest it a bit more.
Ok... so pressing A doesn't start the game (you have to press Z instead). Shift does not mute it. Is this one of those "you have to go figure out the game" games where the instructions are all wrong?
OH MY GOD!!!! I just realized the blight doesn't clear between levels during the gauntlet! Frag! This knowledge helps me better plan in the future... but Jesus man!!!!
Hmm... only suggestion would have been to have the bear not wearing sunglasses. Then, after he is reunited with the Queen Bee (after saving all the other hives, etc), he puts on his sunglasses. After that, he wears the sunglasses during future playthroughs of the game.
@composer - pawns move as pawns now. So they can only attack at diagonals (however they still don't move 2 spaces if in the 1st square). As for the old controls, I liked those too. However, they are no longer compatible with how Bishops, Rooks, and Queens can stop anywhere on their path.
