Wow, horribly designed. You lose if a hostage gets shot, the enemies can shoot the hostages, and the hostages wander around randomly so they're often standing in the same place as an enemy or directly in the line of fire. Ends up just being frustrating waiting for people to move to a place where you don't automatically lose.
Wow. Let's see, no tutorial, no indication of how much damage/fire rate for each weapon so you have no idea what you're getting when you buy it. Worst of all, once you build a fort you can just stand in it and let the monsters pass, then go back to repairing your balloon so you don't need to fight at all.
Originally thought this game was good. However, super clunky controls, bad hot keys and just random bs made it not fun to play. And it's super frustrating for "oh this map everyone comes from the left". Then why don't you automatically move my launcher? There's no point to that except as a gimmick. No tutorial and the upgrades don't work in an obvious way (you don't get the ability until AFTER you've put in 5 points).
Great game that fails to get into any deep strategy and gets ruined at the end. At a certain point all you're doing is looking for the hidden items, and once you find all of them upgrading is an awful awful process.
Very uninspired game. No real strategy needed, mindless upgrades and some bugs here and there. Also, hit boxes aren't well defined. If you enjoy this type of game then it's okay, but it's not worth a second look.
Neat concept but the balance is way off. It's way too grindy at the start. First four runs: ~1k soul and 1 level each. Buy 2nd level staff, next run get 20k soul and 8 levels. Buy 3rd level staff, next run get 200k soul (half from achievements) and 16 levels, buy best staff. Next run beat game. :-(
Awesome game but you lost a star for forcing near-full complete to fight the last boss. Some stars are just super annoying to get and it detracts from the game to require them all to finish it.
A neat game but it becomes trivial once you realize bombs are way overpowered. Just max out bomb explosion radius and capacity, you can beat every level but just mashing bombs without taking any damage.
A neat concept but some problems: 1) I really want to use keyboard to control movement 2) The levels are trivially easy! After playing the first couple of levels I went to the last level and beat it immediately. Give us a little challenge :-(
