Dear jmtb02, I am sincerely concerned for your sanity. After playing this game and earning most of the achievements, I am concerned for my own sanity as well. Likewise, keep up the good work.
I have something of a solution to the Ninja issue that seems to have reawakened in this installment. Evileye towers. Perhaps they should see through Ninja's smokebomb and, while in range of the Evileye, other towers can target them. This would make Evileye towers more useful as a support.
The only difficult aspect of this game is the Ninjas. They're STILL overpowered, making it simply aggravating, nothing more, to go for Brilliants. They suck the fun out of it. I'd rather play Gemcraft, and that's not even at the top of my list. Perhaps Ninjas could instead have a smoke bomb that makes units in the smoke non-targetable? Because being invisible for more than half the map ruins it and ends games, especially in the beginning. When you HAVE to grind for a game, there's something dreadfully wrong.
So yeah... I'm the swimming type, maxed out all the stats, but I can't continue. Clicking Qualifiers sends me to Climbing Training. 2/5 until this is fixed.
On another note that I should have added to the last comment, a very simple and probably much appreciated feature would be Difficulty. The way it is now would be Easy or Normal. Moderate would be Enemies + 50% HP, Hard would be + 100% HP. Maybe 10% more damage on either of those, too. This would make it more of a challenge for people who were annoyed by the simple 'tactics' that would beat the game.
Upgrade the Mage and Priest to heal and damage at long range, give the Knight Chivalry, Taunt, and more HP, and give the King Royal Command... and the game is over... Could have been much better. Someone mentioned playing through with just the King, but honestly, I wasn't impressed the first time around, I don't think I'll stick around for a second try.
The requirements for items is kinda funky. I'm a Warrior and it requires a massive amount of Intellect (102 compared to my 41) to wear an armor that screams "If you're a warrior, wear me!" Unfortunately, it would be 12 levels before I could wear it IF I put all my points to Intellect. In my opinion, it should be Strength and Vitality to wear Armor, and Intellect and Willpower for Cloth. It's kind of obvious, as Warriors are supposed to be heavy-built melee tanks while mages are squishier AOE masters. When a Mage gets insane defense, and Warriors have to wear Cloth, it's kind of backwards.
It'd be fantastic if, at the very least, there was a "Filter completed quests" button. I've already beaten the map, I don't care to go back to it for now. I don't need three dozen extra flags on my map right now. It gets REALLY cluttered.
Just how much does the Fast Forward button increase the speed? 5%? 10%? It's hard to tell, there doesn't seem to be any difference at all. Seriously though, there's no point to the button. There needs to be a double or triple speed button.
Pretty crazy game, I personally got stuck at PIECES. I'll come back for another try tomorrow. 4/5, will rate 5/5 if the whole colorblind issue is fixed.
Finding the whole "opponents fly around corners while you slow down by 80 MPH" pretty annoying. Even having enormous handling doesn't let the player do that, why does the AI get to cheat?
You may want to change how the hit-score-decreaser thing works. A single hit from a Pteradactyl when you have x44 or so multiplier will remove nearly half the score you've gotten. I went from 1.4 million score down to 300,000 because of two Pteradactyls that I could do nothing about. Losing 600,000 or more points from a single hit is pretty bad.
On level 3-10, to travel from the bottom-right-most 2 to the bottom-right-most 1, you'd have to go all the way around the map. At that point, I'd rather just swim!
I've played all the Reincarnations, and honestly this is the easiest, most thrown-together one yet. There's only one combination, horrible Spanish 'translation,' no need for a walkthrough at all... it was just far too simple for one of the fabled Reincarnation games. I was hoping for a lot more.
