@ Wholee - the piano reminds of Arcade Fire. Especially this track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iz-WDk7Tbsc

Level 49 is like watching paint dry - even on high speed. Pretty much everything only gives you 1pt, so it takes forever to build towers. You just have to juggle back and forth for like a half an hour before you actually make enough money to buy anything lol.

Zoom doesn't work after the 3rd level. Tried restarting the game a couple of times with the same result. Firefox 3.5.5 Flash version: 10.0.32.18

What the? I finished the whole game in like 2.5 minutes? Unlocked all the ships, played again with the last blue ship and won in like 60 seconds. Am I missing something?

LVL 62 - 2 suicide bombers do over 80 damage to my house (They were the only things on the screen). My house was at 67HP - after both Jihadists hit I had -27 and game over. This needs to be fixed.

And what's with these games not compensating for edge of screen? That box is about 6 inches wide - it's easy to accidently slide your mouse off the screen. Take a page from other games - have the game pause when the mouse leaves the game screen, and restart when it returns.

Terrible. You spend 30 seconds fighting tiny minions, and then spend 10 minutes fighting a boss. Relies way too much on homing missiles from the enemy for difficulty - which are annoying rather than difficult. Power ups should be based on skill rather than whether you completed the level. EG: 3 Points for Grade A, 2 Points for Grade B, 1 Point for C and under. Games should reward success rather than needlessly delaying progress - even if your kicking ass.

Okay - seriously, too much of the same guns. Laser pistols & machine guns - that's all you ever see in the looted section or buy weapons section. Auto-shottys, shotguns, rapid-bow, gravity gun - these are all part of the game, yet they get way less visibility. And I think, after level 50, you should no longer see Lvl.1 mods or low level guns from the Smith - 'cause right now, that's about 90% of what you see. Give us a break lol.

The guns and mods on this game are crazy random. I'm on day 47 and haven't seen any gravity guns, rapid bow, auto shotguns, or ANY mods above Level 2. And I have a fully upgraded smith, and I'm using almost all my AP on refreshing the weapons page every level. This is the 3rd time playing through this game and this time, I'm seeing how much luck is involved. You can have a great / easy game, or a crazy difficult one. The stats on how often certain guns appear needs to be fixed - I'm tired of seeing the level 6 pistol and shotgun and machine gun pop up all the time - even after level 40 lol.

Also - spending money on chickens is a waste. Maybe buy 40 - everything after that could be better spent on looter, scavenger and storage space. You'll find far more valuable stuff on the battlefield with high scavenger skills - and you don't have to pay a 1AP to sell them like the chickens. After a while they get more expensive to buy then the money you make off them anyway. (Upgrade your looter, scavenger and storage space - you'll find thousands of dollars worth of stuff later in the game. Also make sure you develop an accountant skill with one of your recruits - it will save you huge cash after about level 30. Also develop "active" skill - eventually you'll be able to rob the visitors every round and make a fortune - and still have AP left over for other stuff.

Strategy: You should have all 3 recruits by day 11. 2 recruits with level 5+ shotguns - one on defense, one on offense & bosses. (Pick your gun mods carefully - go for damage, armor.) 3rd recruit with gravity gun or rocket launcher with anti-armor mod, targeting armored mobs / bosses only. Pick hunter for yourself - get a rapid-bow gun as soon as possible. Find one with 2 mod slots - 1 for Anti-Armor Lvl.3 and the other for Damage Lvl. 3). Upgrade your bowman & reload skills as fast as possible (set it to focus on this skill). As you go along - after upgrading your party's guns, focus everyone's skills in a variety of areas (accountant, defender, insurance, etc.) The rapid-bowgun with Lvl 10 reload, Lvl 10 bowmaster, maxed anti-armor and damage, will pretty much rip apart any enemy that comes along up till about Level 80 lol. With your recruits all backing you up, you can't be stopped.

Level 80 - that's enough for me. Took about 7 hours. Seems to just repeat every 40 levels - only the enemies get stronger / more of them. Kinda boring after 80 levels of the same thing. Great game though! Cheers.

Seems it would also be cool to be able to remove / upgrade the mods on the game. For example: if you have a gun with Level 1 leach mod, and find a Level 3 - right now you can't upgrade to the Level 3. You have to use the new mod on a totally new gun. This is weird....

I also think this game needs a bank. There 2 unused spaces in the tower upgrade (2nd page) section. A bank would be great so you could gain interest on money you save. I currently have 30K sitting there (waiting for better weapons to buy) but the bank would allow it gain interest.

Also - look for guns with 3 mod slots. Some only have 1, which makes them useless. 3 mods allows for stuff like anti-armor + firing rate + damage. Especially on the gravity gun - where you want anti-armor and leech. Some only have 1 slot. Gravity has max 2 (I think) and autobow can have 3 if you find the right one.

Despite my complaints - this game pretty much rocks when you figure it out. On level 65 with a MK-4 autobow - with 3 mods (2 x Level 3 anti-armor, and Level 3 fire rate) + Level 7 bowmaster skill, I can pretty much wipe out a tank in .02 seconds lol. The whole screen is filled with arrows that can each go through 7 enemies at a time. That gun alone makes the game waaaay too easy. I also have 3 level 50 recruits, 1 with gravity gun, and 2 with level 25 shotguns. I just went through 10 levels with 0 damage. I think the trick is: upgrade house immediately. Choose your recruits wisely (look for their skills). Have at least 1 recruit with gravity gun (with anti-armor and leech mod) set to take out bosses and armored mobs only. Little sisters are pretty much useless with autobow (cause you blow them up before hitting ground). Also - make sure you develope "accounting" skill for at least one recruit - helps with money after level 30. If you get stuck, hire a henchman for a day.

Okay - I complained, tried again, complained...now I'm officially clearing my cache and leaving this game alone. Started over a few times - this last time I got to Level 15 - 2 recruits - both of them Level 10 for their weapon (big gun / rifle), me with a Level 8 rifle & Level 5 rapid fire crossbow. Lots of chickens for cash, Level 4 trainer upgrade, Level 4 house, Level 2 sandbags, Level 3 looter, etc. - all recruited players have high level weapons with mods (as do I). I even have a frickin' museum (and with my 14 medals it still says it gives me no money. Lol. What a waste of money.) Despite all this - I still can't pass level 15 without a hired gun. And that's using a Holy Grail. grenades, etc. This game is faaar too random and frustrating. The first time I played, I made it to level 18 with no recruits and hardly any upgrades. WTF?

Take the "carry over" option button off the middle of the screen FFS. It's very easy to be shooting right over top of it when your castle goes down - and you accidently hit it.

Is there anything that doesn't attack? Ghosts, sheep, construction workers, mosquitos. Haha. This game is terrible. Got to level 14 and just got bored. Game should be renamed to: "Reload!" Seriously - I'm on Level 5 reload skill and I could go have a cigarette come back and it would still be reloading. 1/5.

Fantastic game. I have a few complaints though. To justify - I usually average about 200 million points per game (Frantic mode) so I've played a few times. ;-) Something needs to be done when the mouse goes off screen. That tiny flash window is small enough, let alone having the mouse lose contact with game when you go outside the borders. This is what causes about 90% of my "hits". I've played other games that will pause / restart when your mouse goes outside the frame. This would be a huuuuuuge bonus! Also - power ups need to be more common / stronger. I finished a Episode 1 game with 340 million points and only had about 90% of my power bars filled. I literally hit everything and collected everything on the screen. I shouldn't have to sacrifice upgrades in order to get the 'chances for a purple' heart upgrade, just to max out my ship by level 5. As it is now - the ship upgrades way to slow. I say, give more power ups and add more bad guys. ;-)
