The additions are awesome. The only thing that would make it cooler is if you actually had to decipher the clues (which I understand would be a massive undertaking).
I don't mind the energy loss as much as others; it gives me a reason to do something else. I DO like the puzzles, especially the ones that require a bit of thought. The trivia however, is a cross between fun and downright confusing. Some of the questions, especially the fill in the blanks, tend to be confusing as to what is being asked.
The computer was a great touch and a fun way to explore the story and world, but you should make it a little less specific (like being able to type "lookup hatter" instead of "lookup mad hatter", or typing "log 202" instead of "read log 202"). Is Lewis related to a character in the story, or just an homage to Lewis Carroll?
You should probably mention that you have to answer with numbers instead of words. Especially since you only get one chance at it. Or just program it so that one = 1 and so on.
I think this is the best I've seen from the Stride competition. The design, the movement and the gameplay are all great, but maybe you should make more upgrades, so we can keep using our points and live longer. Faster reactions, maybe a percentage chance that the birds will survive hits, etc.
Could use some proofreading. Also, the entire good/bad decision came when the character was off the screen, so I had no idea what he was saying. In general, the enemy shouldn't be able to go farther than you.
It's almost as bad as the first version of toss the turtle. All in all, it's not too terrible a game, but there are some issues. Upgrades take too long to get and it's too hard to collect powerups due to the complete lack of control you have.
I like that it's not nearly as frantic as turtle toss, that detracted from the game. But you should at least give the squirrel some control over its altitude to help grab powerups. Also, you should have the achievements give you bonuses. That keeps people playing your game.
films are death proof, the green mile, friend green tomatoes, death wish, diamonds are forever, wizard of oz, kill bill, attack of the killer tomatoes, a clockwork orange, jackie brown, reservoir dogs, pretty in pink, the pink panther, pretty woman, what's eating gilbert grape, the color purple... i think that's all of them
I think it's an improvement over the one everyone else is in love with, but could still use some improvement. I'd like to see a trajectory or a radar when using the trebuchet, and when you try to reset sometimes, it'll twice give you a "fail" prompt.
I like the new weapons a lot though; there needs to be some system to show when things get unlocked, and not have shop purchases disappear when resetting.
