very sad game. The computer can throw fireballs and whatever as it likes, but a player can't do that using the arrow keys. Not very well.
Animation is decent though, so it's not a complete waste.
very much like another game I played on here and wasn't overly fond of. The shot aiming is all off.
On the other hand, this game has all right graphics and sound effects.
It's extremely hard to control the paddles. remembering clockwise and counter-clockwise when all I want is the paddle to go left, is a pain. Good game, very neat idea.
The opening minigame is a lot of fun, didn't realize what to do at first.
Maybe basing level changing on when you've eliminated all the current blocks would be better than just survive as long as you can.
And bounce physics for the paddles would be nice. Didn't seem to be any when I played. The balls just went back the way they came in.
I think I figured out how to score points, the more similar pieces you group together, the better the score.
Place colors together and shapes together.
The relatively unclear directions make me a little uncertain though.
Maybe placing an informative animation in the instructions?
3/5 for now. Clever idea, not bad design, but needs clarification.
Any game based on bouncing a ball around needs bouncing physics.
And it's fun to watch the ball richochet off an enclosed space with all 1.5 walls. I was disappointed when the level reset.
Would be interesting to have a game where the object is to not get points, but then there should be a way of doing that without just waiting for a randomly spawned satellite to come out.
Maybe a satellite type that helps slow down the points but doesn't build up the city?
Or satellites that interfere with each other's signal boosting your points if you aim at them?
Right now it's fairly boring, but with some spice, this could be a good game.
I'll hold off on rating it for now, to see what you do with it.
very challenging. Too much luck involved though.
I burned through all my deals and about 20 draws looking for a double red last game.
Points off for being at the mercy of the program if it decides not to like you.
Also, on the hard mazes, the timer to see the maze before you start gets in the way of the bottom of the maze, right where the exit is.
Should probably fix that.
Not bad as is, just boring. It needs something more to do as you're exploring.
Something to make it more than just aimlessly wandering until you find the exit.
Could be a good top down shooter if you added a weapon and a few hunter AI bots. Maybe just a weapon to delay your pursuers... can't kill them.
Trying to find the exit while avoiding things trying to kill you could make even the slower movement entertaining. Tense instead of massive action, but that's fun too.
Excellent game. A bit tough when the enemy is trying to ram you and they're faster than you are, but a fun, intense game nontheless.
And I agree with Saddler, the little blue ones that mine your path are sweriously nasty.
