Pretty fun game, Tip for the medium badge: Sacrifice your armor to do damage to the tank, basically ignore the blue beam and only focus on the tank, you should have it dead before the wave with the EMP's finishes spawning.
When the game freezes at the ending just reload the game and beat any level but the ending level to get the badge. It's really too bad that the best thing this game had going for it (the story) was absolutely ruined by a bugged ending. Got the hard badge, will never play again.
Very good game, nice little twist on the find-it genre (adding movement and foreground/background hiding, which very few find-it's do). That along with a story that sucks you in. I'm glad kongregate badged this game so I and many others had the opportunity to check it out. I for one look forward to any future games you may make, keep up the great work.
Wish I could invest in 3 plates to put the finished pancakes/french toast/waffles on instead of having to put them there in the right order all the time.
@SchierkeWiking Just because this game only takes "3 months" of grinding to become competitive doesn't mean that it's not a card grind game. I do like it better than tyrant, but they are very comparable games (this one may just take less time to get a killer deck). I'm glad you're having fun though. I gave the game a 3/5, the story & production value is quite good, but the originality, repetition required, and real time energy system leave much to be desired.
This really is just another card grind game ala tyrant, adding an inventory doesn't change this fact. I do like both games for the deck building strategy, but the energy system is really only there to extend this tedious grind into real life time.
Wow I really liked the bonus (100% complete) game's fighting engine (I really missed not being able to kill enemies in the main game). I hope in the next game you become the boy and reuse that system in some way after some polish. Probably too much to hope for a sequel after 3 years, but really nice job. 5/5.
Great game, I just hate the dummies, while they do add a lot of difficulty into the puzzle, the solution looks like a mess instead of a perfectly reconstructed board. 5/5 game, I love loops of zen and this really scratched that itch, thanks for making it!
Is there any way to turn off the annoying sound effects? The "Sound" button only turns off the BGM...having to play with my computer volume off really stinks.
Good game, but why does the map reset when you continue? That & extremely repetitive (almost no variety of enemies) nature of the game makes this a 3/5.
The reason more people have the hard badge than the medium is that they added the medium one weeks after the original hard badge for the Best of 2011 Quest.
First two of these were high quality good games, this one is bug riddled and not very fun. I also crashed/black screened multiple times using the arrows and statues in chrome.
