Extra cute, but controls seem a bit...off. The jumping doesn't feel natural at all, very floaty. The arrows are fine, but stick with the arrow for your mechanics (shoot arrow to hit switch, shoot arrow to light a torch, etc.) Good start!
Core gameplay needs work, drawing is fun. Add an eraser, so you can redo a portion of the ship. Also make it so i can erase my cannon drawing, not the whole thing. Finally, figure out how to store people's ship designs and use them in-game against the player instead of the generic '>' Fun start but needs more work.
Raid on Bungling Bay...wow, well done here. Was looking for the battleship being built, but ah well. Umm, comments...maybe make it so the trees get blown up by bombs? Also don't destroy defenses if the factory goes up, you risk yourself going for that target and getting out. Small things...this is really good game.
Soft Crash: on the frozen mountain campaign, you aren't warned that you need a heavier gun than the machine gun to destroy the flying shield ship. So it is just hovering and not taking damage. Don't presume the player is going to know to switch it up
Nicely done. I can't see how a pause button would work here, as that's kind of the point. However, I suspect a 'erase and start point-placement over' button could help. This wouldn't hurt the game because people would take longer to draw it and it would fade from memory. Still, nice start
While the game looks nice and controls pretty well, the challenge never really ramps up at all. Healing powerups, with the lives is to blame, I think. Also, re-evaluate damage taken. Finally, the spread forms a severe positive feedback loop; with wraparound, most things die super quick. Good start, tho!
What if you made it where the more corn he gets, the fatter he gets? So he gets more power and can flap farther, but it becomes much harder. Just a thought
Neat start, but I agree with the comments that you should have a level up system, some purchasing economy, a story, some way to pick up other weapons, more weapons, or any combination of the above. The jumping attack animation looks cool, but that's not enough.
Interesting, but controls aren't all that great. Music is horrible; try to find something that fits the context better. "Golf Ball Bouncing" sounds for the impacts don't do justice. Not bad, but needs refinement in almost all aspects.
Wow...i like this one alot...finished all 12 in one setting. Yes, I agree with people who say 11 should be last; that thing was crazy frustrating while 12 was a cakewalk. Really well done, 5 stars.
As for improvements: maybe one more mechanice besides doors and beams? Unsure what that might be...maybe other enemy robots? Also, the timer is a tad tight. Overall, well done!
This is a lot of fun once you figure it out. A tutorial could help. I think the hang-up occurs when players start out with negative points to start the game, which is a tad unnerving. Still really solid effort here!
Your big puffy cartoons need more space to breathe or made smaller for more dodging area. This game might actually work better as a side scroller as well. Not horrible, but not where it needs to be for fun.
