The challenge from Missile Command also came from managing the limited number of shots you have, which this game misses. Either give ammo or make it where you have to wait for the silo to reload, which forces you to switch to another one. Not bad, but not balanced.
How can I tell how much shield I have left? Seems like some of the HUD is missing. Tough, almost too tough, to begin with. More balance, more HUD is needed. Good start tho.
The recycling symbol is a lie! I just lose them. :) A fun game overall, although I would like to be able to start at any level I have completed already and also a chance to go back to the start/menu if I need to. Good job!
The giant 'wall o hooks' is unavoidable...sometimes right at start, or maybe 20 sec later. This makes it unfun. Figure out how to space them out or provide some sort of power up to help out. See Rotizen for an example of how to do this well.
Tutorial doesn't mention that you have to fill in all squares...or else I missed it. Also, part of the reward of completing the squares is seeing an actual train go through actual stations. Interface is still difficult to use and the somewhat arbitrary rules (a straight track must go through a station) don't seem to make sense. A decent idea, but not great execution.
As with most of your games, they are technically pretty strong (although this one hit 11 fps). The problem was with the balance. You made this a positive feedback loop; it got easier as you went on...too easy. Figure out how to scale it back so the challenge remains as the player earns items.
Part lunar lander, part defender...welcome to the 80s! hehehe. Pretty good improvement over the first (and better than most of the dross you normally post), good start!
What a funky little game. I think you would do better to set a goal that the player is trying to achieve before going on to the next level...it's original, but get's old too quickly, even with the variety of other objects falling. Good start, tho!
