I like how DarkSky7 made an angry post to complain about all the angry posts. And in talking about not wasting time on things you don't like, it's probably the longest post in the entire comment section.
You know, a couple months ago there would be hundreds of messages complaining about another VasantJ BOTD. Now there are only a handful. These games are so bad that people literally leave and never come back.
I like how when you lose an arena battle, it tells you to try a new strategy next time. But there is no "game". There's just click start and cross your fingers.
I guess my biggest red flag here is that when these games first come out, almost all the comments are "OMG I love this game 40 more per year plz". Then after they come out and there's no more incentive, all the comments are "oh god not this again". There's no way at all that the initial rating system wasn't being gamed.
Guys, hopefully someone can help me out. From what I've seen from most badges of the day lately, you can complete a game by holding the Page Down button for 45 minutes. That doesn't seem to be working here. Any advice?
Kongregate existed for like a decade. Then garbage games like this came out, like 20 per year. All of them got badged. Player base plummeted. Related? Nah. Keep badging these cow pies.
The worst part about these games isn't the maddeningly slow text and cut scenes. It's that the entire "game" is a quiz at the end to make sure you didn't hold Page Down to skip it.
Kongregate sure was a lot better back when they were hosting more games like this instead of all the "Page Down: The Video Game" garbage that killed them at the end.
I wish they'd start badging actual games again. This is just a low-effort story that asks you questions every now and then to make sure you're paying attention.
I stopped playing this game for awhile, and all I can say is, what happened? This game is so buggy now. How does no one notice that the "random" effects target the last card almost every time? How does no one notice that Cripple All only affects the last card the first time it's used? How does no one notice research speedups have to be restarted nearly every time? Again, what happened here?
These games are basically a big cut scene that you keep trying to skip. Then at the end you get a quiz on all the stuff you tried to skip. Then they call it a game.
