The lag almost definitely has something to do with the character animations. I have an extremely high end computer, and the characters move in place so quickly that they're almost vibrating. The game is extremely unresponsive when this happens. When I disable hardware acceleration and scale my CPU way back, the characters slow down and everything is much more responsive.
The jumping problem for me appears to be related to the animation. When I'm on a ground floor, the characters move normally. If I move to a platform, they start rapidly vibrating like they just smoked some meth. When this happens, I have to press the jump button several times for it to register.
The game doesn't register half the time when I click to jump. When I'm on an upper level, the screen wildly fluctuates up and down. It needs to be restarted every 10 minutes or so due to horrible coding. Not bad for a middle school Intro to Programming project, but badges don't belong on this game.
This game used to work fine, but a Flash update made it extremely laggy. The guy talking about the "potato computer" is probably using one of those ancient versions that are always getting exploited.
Starts out fine, but it very quickly becomes the slowest game I've ever played by far. "Want to kill this enemy you're 20 times more powerful than? Better wait 45 minutes."
Is there some secret to reaching Mars? I reach outer space and get a cut scene as I change levels, then reach the end of that and see another cut scene, and then my ship is no longer on the mini map but I keep flying. Do you just keep flying like this to reach Mars?
