When Rae tries to pick the lock, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Why would an electrically-controlled lock even have a keyhole for him to pick? And why would the lock be in the doorknob?
This game is full of Britishisms, like "colour", so it seems like it takes place in the UK. But Beth's money is a bunch of Benjamin Franklins.
Why doesn't Ink ever use his Gemini to ask for help with puzzles?
The "Submit score to knucklecracker.com" button doesn't work.
There doesn't seem to be a Bug Report button.
If you press Esc to exit full screen mode at the score screen, you won't get a normal window. Instead, you see a window-size portion of the full screen score screen. Then you're just stuck and have to reload the page.
How is this a puzzle? It's totally simple and obvious what you need to do. You just need to figure out the timing. I hate "games" that consist entirely of timing and nothing else.
So it's just like Portal, only not as good. It lacks little things like the portal-shooting animation and sound effect, and the elevator at the end of a level. And it lacks big things like good level design with appropriately ramping difficulty.
One time my survival mode quests were to catch 3 beasts floating in bubbles in a single launch, collect 25 items in a single launch, and break through 5 ceilings in a single launch. In one launch I caught 2 beasts, collected 24 items, and broke through 4 ceilings. ARGH.
God rules and troops drool. Even max-level axemen drop like flies in the later battles, even if you use all acts of God. So it seems the thing to do is prioritize upgrading the barracks level, temple level, and acts of god, but not so much the mine. And don't bother to unlock all the troops. So, in the later battles the thing to do is to just have 16 clubmen run in while you try to use all acts of God before they all die. And expect to take a few tries to win each of the really hard battles.
There NEEDS to be an option to control the volume, not just turn on/off. And there needs to be a separate setting for "attack" sounds (pop/boom/clank/lightning/etc.), because they are so damn loud. I would really like to turn them off or way down but still hear other sounds, like the build and upgrade sounds.
"4) If you can't beat a level, try building only (maxed) farmers."
The first really hard levels are the ones where you can't use farmers. In one of those levels, the brute zombies obliterate my javelineers while the magic zombies slip past and invade my town despite 4 points in Musket.
Upgrades are permanently broken for me. I tried restarting, but still can't buy anything. Also, the upgrades screen says I have 150 of them but the achievements tab says I have 78.
That's weird, could it be that your space key has an issue? Have you tried pressing Ctrl or right arrow key instead?
