F for Uber-fail! It brough over my character from Red Storm (the first) without asking me and I see no way of starting fresh. WTH would I want to start with an old character?
Good game. I'ld rather have an autosave an reload from right before I died then that regen thing. Next game may I suggest the auto-guidance weapons target the enemies near where I'm aiming, or else closest to me. Feels like rather useless weapons when there is a whole mob right in front of me and they go after a turrent in the corner (and often blow up against a wall before they get there)
Spoiler:
To find the yellow key on lvl 6 go straight south until you come to a divide. The yellow key is on the other side. Now just explore all the other rooms and eventually you'll be able to get to it.
I don't know why everyone is complaining. It seems like you have a few paths to choose from to win. A couple tips: reload whenever there is a pause in attackers, if you only fill half a clip it only takes half the time; if there is no pause then you need a new gun tomorrow. When your hp is low buy one of the reinforcing buildings, it will bring it to full with no extra cost. If you're in the middle of a reload you can switch guns and switch back right away, you won't have a full clip but it stops the reload so you can shoot.
How to beat lvl 15 with one click (humans, campain 4): give your flame throwers invisablity, other good buffs, upgrade to lvl 40 and start the battle. Avoid sending anything else so they don't get killed in the crossfire. Not only will they make it across the map, they will take the whole base down.
Big bug on the second to last level. The red enemy got stuck on stairs and built up over 700 units just going back and forth between two buildings. Hard to target them to elimate them too.
Really, really, really need to fix the bugs in the de/buff descriptions. The last title fight before Ride is hard enough without having to guess which of the giant's debuffs have run out after he strengthens.
KingTom - I've done that. You can also shoot him in the belly when he holds his weapon over his head and if you shoot him in the head with an explosive arrow he falls down. Still doing damage and actually killing him are two different things and I haven't read anyone saying they've actually killed him.
Has anyone ever killed the super ogre? I like that you have to time your shots for effect but he has way too much life, plus he's a big shield so in no time at all he can amass 10 priests to counter any damage you do to him. BTW, I also finished the game and did not get the hard badge. Even though my profile is gone I was able to take a screen shot of my high score. I hope kongregate accepts that as proof.
Good game. Story mode was too much story, the cut scenes were far longer then the action. I also thought it was too complicated for the little amount of fighting there was. I had a hard time trying to set groups and getting them to do what I wished.
I think the AI needs work. I got stunned and only the enemy that stunned me attacked to finish the job. The other enemy and my ally both parried both of those rounds. Both should have been attacking - ally to save my a** or at least score hits while they're focused on me, and the enemies for the quick kill. Great game anyway.
Just too boring. The only tough part is deciding how long to draw your lines to time the obstacles. Problem solving should be more then trial and error.
