For "fight them on the beaches" all you need is the spy and commando. Stay out of range with commando to give the spy openings to climb towers. You cannot kill the tourists with bullets, but be careful anyway.
The system for points awarded per battle in faction wars is crap, game designers. Please explain the differences for when I get 16pts or 25, or fix your illogical system.
No improvement on tower of greed. This combat system is pointless: no shots fired for hard badge, still took less than 20 minutes start to finish. still, 4/5
@tanath, Right on. It would be so much more accurate if it simply activated those skills every other time, not whenever you win an imaginary coin toss.
ya know, I could forgive most of the little technical loose ends the designer left hanging out. But what's really annoying is that cars just keep pouring out for no apparent reason on some levels, and on others it stops the clock just as a challenge is being completed.
This game needs a save option instead of autosaving the day of--cause what's the point of being able to load my harder game on day 57 when I just lost a lynch pin battle, from which there is NO coming back!?!
Try not to tweak too much if there's a sequel; less is more, which is why this works so well. As for the ridiculous range overlaps, selectable groups would be wiser than color-coding, for numerous reasons. 5/5
It started strong, but for every cool thing the developer did well, there's also something he could have adjusted with minimal effort that made the experience less enjoyable, the small inventory being the least of it. Mostly it upsets me that magic attacks can miss, especially after all my specials miss back-to-back. Getting gang-raped by re-spawning monsters because I got frozen twice by the same, single opponent sucks, too.
It doesn't get harder, there's very little skill involved; it looks nice, but it's really only half way to being a game. anything more than 2/5 is insincere.
Seriously, why does the meter drain automatically? Why can't I use it just when I need it? It drains while I eat six more dots, and the seventh one dips into the ocean as I'm landing on it.
