Donavin, some people have used tools to hack the game on the fly, just got a whisper from such one hacker. I'll need to add checks to prevent such things...
Sorry guys, I accidentally deleted the highscores for the first two levels!!! :( Anyway, I also updated the game so that it doesn't send any level scores to the server if the score is < 800pts, so that should let the server take it easy for a while.
acidDICA, the longer you keep pressing on a ball, the bigger the boost will be, and also the bonus/penalty. In Ball Drop you had binary boost, here you can boost longer... :D I know, it's pretty unclear...
acidDICA, good ideas! I'll add them later today. But no pause button, I thought about that, but it's too easy to use it to get better scores (press pause, move mouse to the next ball that's going to get hit...).
A tutorial, yes, that would be useful as the game is a bit cryptic at the moment... I'll try to do at least image slideshow tutorial after I sort out the network issues.
It seems I underestimated the load this game would create, my server is pushing out plasma! :D At least your scores etc. get nicely stored to Kongregate's server, but my server might miss a few messages...
Yes you can destroy the skulls, but destroying one costs 300pts (place the mouse pointer over a skull ball and info text appears at the bottom of the screen).
