Holy shoot, no wonder Animus was capable of taking down a civilization - he managed to one-shot every member of my party, all with magic shields and spell defense decrease, even though I have used those three partners (Elwyen, Meraeador, and Gloria) ever since I obtained them (which I did as soon as possible), and even though I have played long enough for Mardek to master every single skill in the entire game. No wonder he's called "the Annihilator" - he lives up to his name. If he can do that, I can easily see him taking down tremendous numbers of people - we should just send the Governance de Magi up against Animus and watch Animus annihilate Qualna and all of the others as they arrive.
@Shaximilion: Or being berzerk and dealing damage of an element that they are immune to. In such cases, I typically refresh; it is somewhat annoying, but I guess that's just how the cookie crumbles.
@salaya1: When you get one, left click on it in your inventory (under "hero") and click "use" to get a skill; then, use the skill on a hero for whom you believe it would best apply (e.g. don't use a tech-upgrade-enhancing skill on a war hero, or an attack-enhancing skill on a builder) by switching to that hero, then clicking on the skill and select the menu option to use it, just as you did with the book. I presume you're doing this for the quest; in that case, all of this presumes that you HAVE a hero skill book.
Fairly fun & enjoyable. Liked it, enjoyed the touching plot... but gameplay was so-so; sometimes it was irritating. I would have liked to have been able to use hints on the room keys in the hotel. Overall, 3/5 - good plot (albeit not necessarily really deep), gameplay OK.
*confusedface* Zombification is supposed to count as "dead," yet when I zombify a pixie it keeps on fighting, even though it is the only foe and therefore all foes are "dead"?
Booyah. Managed to beat Zach's solo arena, without using him in either game besides this and the brief period in game 2 before you get Vehrn. Bought lost of Mugwort juices, element-attack-items (liquid lightnings, really cold water, etc.), a few antidotes, and a speedy potion (for the fire spirit - frelling berzerk-inducing moves!)
@hiryuu: Check what your clearing process entails. Chances are that there's an option you have selected that you could uncheck that would cause you not to lose your flash data. You could also back it up (not that that's a bad thing to do anyway) - on my computer, the data is stored in %appdata%/macromedia/flashplayer/chat.kongregate.com/games/ and it's probably stored in the same place if you also have Windows.
OK, so sometimes I lose and it says that the resource exchange is negative, and sometimes I lose and it says that the resource exchange is positive... does that mean that sometimes I gain resources for losing?
hello typodestroyer9001. yes, when you lose on defense, you get the resources from any ships destroyed. and if that amount is greater than what the attacker took from you, then the result will be number will be positive.
@callofdutypro99: Yeah, but it's already been mentioned in a top comment... If something's been said, and better, then the comment doesn't need to be uprated.
Do evade chances stack, or do they both apply? E.g. If I have a 50% evade chance and a 20% evade chance, do I have a 60% or 70% chance of avoiding an attack?
Tip for impossible: When you click the "Try Again" button, line up your mouse with the center of your purple box. It will make looking at the top of the screen easier, because you just need to watch the mouse instead of lining up where the box would be in your head.
