Needs more work. When you lose a level, please let me choose to buy a weapon. I was hoarding money to save up for the best weapons and just had my initial gun and kick. Obviously that's stupid if you end up not being able to beat a level and have to start over. And it gets very repetitive about 5 minutes in. 2/5
I like the puzzle aspect of moving around. Having turn-based fighting would be nice. Or just something gives us some choices while fighting. And letting us decide where we want to spend our upgrade points.
Nice game. I wish it had more passive damage stats since I don't like doing different attacks all that often. I just want to upgrade damage and fire away!
Seems like it's trying to be a metroidvania and a puzzle game all in one, while not fully succeeding at either. I wish it'd pick one or the other and make a great game out of it instead of an average mix.
I came so close to beating level 29. I just can't do it. Hardest game I've ever played. Each level just keeps getting harder. 25 (Depression) isn't the hardest, unfortunately. Good luck, everyone. Sweet game.
Oh my god, this game is incredible. The beautiful artwork is intriguing at first and really makes you want to finish the game.
I love the gameplay, too. The 3D aspect of the worlds makes it so much more challenging. It also gives more life to the environment.
I'm not a fan of games like this since they tend to be mindless searching, but the artwork in this game is so stunning and the worlds are so dynamic that it doesn't feel like a chore finding all the items. In fact, it brings you on a spectacular journey if you let yourself dive into the game. Very nice work. Easy 5/5.
Hmm....maybe there's keys or something? Maybe like the one you uncover with the sonar in the tutorial? Who knows! :)
