Man, this is either one very heroic or very desperate protagonist. I understand the value of a quality woman and all, but sorry to any ladies out there, if you disappear from my car replaced by nothing except a bloodstained ticket to a puppet show, you're on your own. Emergency services can sort that shit out.
Man, Dregg reminds me of me. Me and him could be brothers. Everyone says "Oh man, it's going to rain all week, everyone's going to be miserable!" while I secretly think to myself "Little do they know I love rain; it makes the world outside match my insides and everyone can be as unhappy as I am! Plus then nobody expects me to leave the house!". Anyhow, that's besides the point. I like the direction this is all going in. Not exactly the most difficult of games, but the story makes up for it.
See, the problem with making point and click games not make any sense is that making sense is what such games are predicated on. I mean, really all games do, because if things seemingly just happen it sort of removes the cause>effect>mental reward system that videogames break down to. In the beginning it's ok, but as soon as you get to the first...dream? It simply becomes a matter of guessing. I literally just went to the walkthrough and skipped to the end to see the ending, as I was pretty much reliant on it by that point anyways (my applet isn't displaying right cutting off the right hand side of the screen, which makes the matter worse).
Mim, I'm just going to go out on a limb here and guess that you don't "choose" anything. I'd imagine if you went with the other option it would just have some reason the dragon wasn't likely a slave...not to doubt the dev or anything, but I doubt this is the kind of game where they'd put in all that extra work to create an entirely different ending; I'm quite sure the whole thing is linear.
So...does anyone know why kong appears to be snubbing this game? I'd kind of assumed as soon as it came out that badges would follow very shortly after, but they just kind of seem to be pretending it doesn't exist.
I...think there's something wrong with online saves? Or something? I had all kinds of nice data in there, having finished the game multiple times and bought all bonus items/maxed out most of them...then yesterday tried to play again and came back to no saves, no data, no nothing, and it tells me the online save servers can't be reached. It's still doing so. I haven't done anything to my computer and I've lost data for absolutely nothing else, so it has to just be this game specifically...
Kong only allows local saves which are cookies, they block my online save script right now. So if your browser clears its cookies, your saves are gone.
Ah, reminds me of my late grandfather who also happened to be a crazy old alcoholic who drank too much at children's birthday parties yet was always good at shooting things.
Every time one of these come out I groan; I know chances are I know it's going to wind up getting a high enough score to warrant giving it badges, but man, my attention span isn't even CLOSE to long enough to allow me to just sit there as grains of sugar slowly float down the screen...TL;DR: please figure out how to make a speed up button.
The mouse gave you a "gift"? Frickin' thing stole your key, stealing something then returning it is not called giving someone a gift! And it didn't even have the courtesy to come out of the wall to return it, it embarrasses her by leaving people standing outside, makes her run all over, and in the end it just kinda shoves it out there. That lady needs to develop some self esteem, cause if she's letting a damned rodent step on her like that without kicking it to the curb, just imagine what she must let men do.
Bosses are too strong compared to normal enemies, particularly because they require entirely different strategies. Basically the only good way I can see to beat bosses before their usually absurd physical means of wrecking you (chainsaws, grabbers, claws, all those things that pretty much smash your entire ship with very, very little you can do about it other than, idk, distribute shields throughout? Maybe? We don't have that much extra money and free slots to do w/e with) is abusing support calls.
Well, Keithan's a weird name (apparently his parents couldn't decide if they wanted him to be named Keith or Ethan), but I guess that's not too bad. They could've just as well named one of the first black guys I've seen in one of their games "Jamal" or "Deshawn".
...yes. It's here. I played the last one, like, 4 or 5 times since it was created, and I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw this. I'm a happy fellow indeed.
