Are...are you making fun of us? Eh, I guess maybe not, because I pretty much say that whenever I see ANY idle game. This one just looked too silly for me not to take a look at it...yet the sad part is that I still sat here for about 10-15 minutes just clicking shapes racking up meaningless points so I could click more shapes and rack up more meaningless points before I said "What the hell am I doing?" and stopped.

I second the issue on level 15: unless I'm misunderstanding something there's only one bug there to save, so we should be getting an "everyone's rescued", but I don't. So I guess there's really 2 bugs on that level! Get it?!...*sigh*I'll see myself out.

Well...that's meta as hell. Seriously though, I really like this game's style. I gave it a 5...although I gotta admit, I found it harder to "cheat" in every instance except in regards to getting the wizard wand, so when I got the "cheater" ending I thought "Man, I had to work hard to get this ending! Who are you to call me a cheater?!". Other than that it was pretty cool.

Developer response from Lu_Muja

Thanks a lot, Uberpenguin! But I actually made it so that "beating the game" is a little harder than "cheating the game": in the first case, you need more items and about 5-6 steps more. I'm glad you liked the game! :)

Sorry for all the comments, but yes, I guess we do get a date. Still, it never says which month we're determining by, so I'd have to assume it's if they don't break the necessary income requirements ANY month they should be denied. Also, well, kinda silly moral, especially since, while in fact there are plenty of people out there who really do have to take out loans for medical bills and stuff, it's probably more likely they're doing so to buy things right now that they don't need/could easily wait and save up for or can't possibly pay for EVER, so hey, good thing our character quit, maybe I can take his position. I'd absolutely leave my crappy job in no time flat if it meant moving to a successful loan firm, especially since I wouldn't be the one repossessing people's cars. So the message fell a little flat for me; our character mostly just comes off as whiny.

Hold on now. The handbook says "must make GREATER THAN 1000 per month". So I denied a guy who makes 250 a week, equaling out to 1000. EQUAL TO 1000, not GREATER THAN 1000. And yet I got a warning. I think I need to speak with my supervisor about the handbook, now don't I?! Unless of course you want us to consider in the extra 2 days a month they work, but then why not just give us a breakdown of by day pay as well, hm? Definitely have to speak to my supervisor.

Oh goodness, when I figured out continuing the game after beating it put me back before that spinny puzzle thing with the heartless maker I thought "God, not this again". Talk about a puzzle capable of enraging a person. "Holy crap thank the heavens just one more turn here, I can see it NO, NO! STOP LAUGHING YOU BASTARD, YOU HEARTLESS BAST...oh, I guess that would make sense. Anyways, Maybe if I just turn it one turn back...no, maybe the other way. It has to be here somewhere. Grr, it turned another one..." *5 minutes later* "Wasn't I close to finishing this 5 minutes ago?! How do I not have a single ring aligned?!". But I guess it was worth it to see wimpy little Mr. Gilbert hulk out again. That was probably the awesomest part of the series. The ending of a flash game giving me the feels wasn't. That just makes me feel girly.

WHAT? The hooker not attracted to you, Mr. Gilbert? A small squiggly faced purple octopus man in a terribly ill fitting hat? Absurd. The ladies would be all over that...especially with all the things he could surely do with those tentacles of his*wink wink*.

Developer response from ExperaGameStudio

Indeed, this is strange! Mr. Gilbert has more charme than all the hollywood star system at once! Did you look at his glare? But maybe she just understood he was just too much for her.

I'm...going to pretend I won by just seeing all the photos. I can tell I'm getting older, I just don't have the patience for games that don't move along at a fair pace anymore. Still, badass photos; I'm not sure if Skutnik himself took them, but dude's got some photography skills if so. It's not too often I really think of photography as an art (you aren't really making anything, you're just sharing something that already exists), but I'd call this artistry, sure.

Blood, that...is in a lot of privacy policies. Hell, ever submitted writings or poems to magazines? Even THEY have similar policies. Almost anything involving creativity does. However, I'm not sure why they even bother putting that into there; signed policies don't really mean much. If something violates the bounds of intellectual property that's all that matters. Also, I don't know much about transformice, but this doesn't seem terribly similar...but I'm not sure what made you single this out. There are some ridiculous eulas out there; you pretty much can't operate on the internet without agreeing to something ridiculous. It's just a question of how well they can enforce their own rules legally.

Anyone notice that the shopkeeper is totally the real hero in this game? Without that dude and his willingness to hang around some old tower crypt thing selling spells and equipment in order to keep one single customer, we'd get nowhere. Just once one of these days I'd like to see the shopkeeper be the one to get the princess and the happy ending in a game.

Developer response from UknownXL

Thats a pretty interesting idea and one im inclined to agree with. Hope you wouldnt mind if we made such a game in the future? Thanks for the feedback!

...you should probably give us the option to change our setup when we get attacked by fish people rather than just throwing us in there, ya know, just in case you maybe emptied your fighters without thinking about it. Because if you happen to do that you instead just give us a single swordsman to fight with. Oh, and what's with their levels? What the heck determines that? Why did I get assaulted by LEVEL FRIGGIN 42 fish people while I'm clearing islands in the single digits? Is it just hanging around the wrong islands? Because that's a little silly. We don't even really know their levels to begin with, and idk about getting violently assaulted simply for unknowingly hanging around the wrong neighborhood. If I wanted that to happen I'd go to the ghetto.

Are...you going to fix those "opened trophies" quests at some point here? Cause really it's a pretty obvious bug...I don't know why the dev WOULDN'T fix it, and nothing affects my opinion of a game more than a dev who simply ignores bugs rather than taking the generally tiny amount of time it would take to fix it or at very least explaining there's nothing they can do about it. That really bugs me (no pun intended). If you didn't care about the game enough to make it work right, why bother making it and uploading it to begin with?

So...nobody's mentioned this is basically a lesser version of "amateur surgeon", in every way? Well, I guess I did now. And I can see the news reports on this guy: "And tonight, a local hot dog vendor experienced a psychotic break at a nearby basketball stadium. Witnesses reported erratic behavior, including spraying condiments on passerbys and attempting to inject ketchup while screaming "I AM A SPORTS SURGEON!". When police arrived on the scene they found the man hitting another man's dismembered hand with a sausage. Further investigation revealed that the allegedly delusional individual was originally responsible for all injuries...and now to Tom with sports. Take it away Tom!"

Wait...so that stat next to damage on guns doesn't tell us how fast it fires, it simply tells us how fast the bullets travel when they do get fired?...what? Are you dumb, man? Why would we care about that in the slightest vs., say, whether it's going to shoot once ever 3 seconds or 3 times a second? You're going to make us have to buy the gun just to find out if it's going to be completely worthless or not, since it doesn't matter how much damage it does if we have no idea how often it fires? What would possess you to do that? Oh, and if you're going to shove things that need to be placed in weapon slots in the "stuff" section, then you have to tell us which are which before we buy, cause again, the whole making us buy it to find out then lose half of what we spent on it if it turns out to be useless isn't cool.

This all seems really poorly thought out, like it belongs in two different games. Being as there's pretty much no real selection in enemies, there's little point in combat upgrades (and even if there was selection, there's too much lag to effectively fight). Heck, there isn't much point of combat or upgrades in general. With the many combat limitations, most maps are going to wind up being almost exclusively focused on puzzle/platforming. And then as far as movement-type stats, either you ignore them so anyone can play the level, which is the more likely scenario, or you assume people will have upgraded stats, which many won't. It seems like there should be a whole other (actual) game attached to this, one where combat and upgrades and things actually have some reason for existence. Right now this is just an absolute unfocused mess, with a vastly unwarranted score.
