The physics system is deffinatly a little broken. I was doing a level with 3 bridges, and after getting the first bridge down, kept working on the second two bridges, after several redesignes, suddenly the first bridge started breaking, even though i made no changes to it.
Still a fun game though.
Now that I beat the game. I still think it's good, though, for future improvment, i'll say the things that are wrong with it:
Random elements. The fact that the gate spawns in a random position can make hard levels easier then they're supposed to be, or easy levels harder then they're supposed to be. Gaurds need some form of search grid too, instead of randomly running everywhere. I started to feel like I was winning missions not because i was learning maps, but because Gaurds just weren't running where they're supposed to and the gate spawned somewhere easy.
Still fun though.
this game is really good so far (only on mission 5, I'm assuming difficulty's going to ramp up)
People complaining that you can't kill gaurds are being silly. if you could kill gaurds this would just be an action game, run into every blue dot from the side. It's way better this way.
wow is the boss a huge jump in difficulty. maybe the platforming should have been harder so it's more of a steady slope towards the boss? fun game though.
I'm only an hour or so in, but, this game is amazing, it's beyond a flash game, it's a full fleshed out game. I would buy it if it was being sold in stores.
At first i didn't like the battle system, but it grew on me quickly enough.
The art design on this game is brilliant, Especially some of the characters. Helmut's character model was amazing.
I really like physics games, but this needs improvment. Good premise, but the challenge in a physics puzzle game should come from trying to solve the puzzle, not how akward it is to move things around.
Hopefully the next one will work on that, because otherwise it's a decent game.
anyone complaining that this game is inapropriate either just saw the title and didn't even try playing it, or is extremly ignorant and will hopefully never have children.
what this game really needs, is to replace the "yah!" sound that plays when you clear a level, with the laughing child sound that plays in pathalogic when you kill a mugger.
Even though this game was just done as a joke to make fun of people who say the other ones are too hard, my love for perfect balance is going to force me to have to play through all 40 of these levels of pointless easyness. 5/5 for the joke and the other games though.
level 30 is a crazy ramp up in difficulty from the rest of the game. It's good it's so hard since it's the last level, but maybe some of the preceding levels would be a bit tougher for a nicer difficulty curve.
this game is clunky and hard to play, and I personally feel it deserves the lower rating it's been getting, BUT, it's not getting it for the right reasons, and that bothers me.
People complaining this game is too hard represent everything wrong with the gaming industry. Nowadays, you buy a video game and you know, no matter how good you are at games, you will gaurenteed beat the game if you try. There's know challenge, just time invested.
